A prolific offender identified by police as homeless has been charged for the apparently random brutal assault on a 62-year-old nurse who was exiting a light rail station in Seattle at midday.
Surveillance video shows Alexander Jay, 40, throwing the woman down a flight of stairs multiple times at the city's Union Station just before noon on March 2, reported Seattle talk-radio host Jason Rantz for MyNorthwest.com. She suffered three broken ribs and a broken clavicle.

Saw the video and thought of doing just one thing
I see no reason why society should tolerate the existence of a violent offender like this. The guilt is well established. Quick trial. One appeal. Execution. We need a lot of executions. We have a large criminal class of people who cannot contribute to society. Let’s get rid of them.
Several things. I’d like to take every city counsel member to the top of that stairway and give them a HARD backward shove.
And you would have been completely justified. In Washington State, justifiable homicide includes the defense of yourself or others wherever you are legally allowed to be.
RCW 9A.16.050
Homicide—By other person—When justifiable.
Homicide is also justifiable when committed either:
(1) In the lawful defense of the slayer, or his or her husband, wife, parent, child, brother, or sister, or of any other person in his or her presence or company, when there is reasonable ground to apprehend a design on the part of the person slain to commit a felony or to do some great personal injury to the slayer or to any such person, and there is imminent danger of such design being accomplished;
or
(2) In the actual resistance of an attempt to commit a felony upon the slayer, in his or her presence, or upon or in a dwelling, or other place of abode, in which he or she is.
Hey come on, he was just fighting against the white supremacy to free himself from the oppression.
There’s the law, and then there’s the law as appropriated by leftist governments. After all, the McCloskey’s in Missouri had every legal right to defend against what they reasonable saw as a threat, and were yet prosecuted by a politically motivated, corrupt city attorney.
There used to be institutions for people like him. Jimmah Carter and the Demonrats closed them down.
You have just described the current Demonicrat kakistocracy in Washington, DC, and in Demonicrat-controlled state capitals.
Me too and what your thinking of doing would be great as there were no individuals in the field of fire.
Almost the worst part was the two burly guys going up the escalator who did not appear to make any effort to stop the crime.
There’s probably only one thing missing...the nurse’s desire to carry a gun...and defend herself. Being in Seattle, I’m guessing she’s a Brandon-voter and believes guns are racist. Maybe her attitude has changed now.
Black Lives Matter more than yours.
We watched the video on Tucker last night and my wife asked “Why aren’t those two on the up escalator helping her?”
A life lesson for the wife...
... who, as yet, refuses to practice with the weapon I bought her. You can lead’em to water, but you can’t make’em drink.
After 20 years or so of this trend, anyone who doesn't know what "random" means is willfully blind.
Since the vast majority of those in healthcare today are leftists, you may be right. I wonder who she votes for.
It would be a hate crime to try to stop him; our defunct legal system has ensured nobody will intervene.
That woman utilized no self-defense moves at all, and illogically clung to a railing while he was beating her instead of attempting to roll away, mace him or inflict some pain on his sensitive zone(s). She didn’t appear to be screaming; so much so that a couple just passed by and went up the escalator with only one backward glance, no body language of concern even for themselves, and just kept on going.
