I couldn’t help but laugh because it looked so funny. It wasn’t funny to her, I’m sure. Had to be a heck of a shock.
She’s almost buried now but the weight of the snow will keep the wind from tossing her again.

It’s just now changing over to snow here now. I haven’t stepped out so don’t know how hard the wind’s blowing.

I’m looking forward to it being nice again next week. I have three meetings to head out to and would hate to have cold weather to deal with. We’ve had enough nice days lately that we’re ready for them to be here to stay. Not much longer now but there’s still some cold weather ahead.

Hey there, Kathy.

We had a little rain, a little sleet, and it just started snowing. It’s hard to believe it was almost 70 degrees this afternoon.
What a crazy day.

It would definitely be nice if the snow melts off your roof and saves you some $$$. I checked the cam earlier today but didn’t read chat to see if the weather was posted. Elmendorf had several planes in and out and the cam op was busy tracking them. It was much more fun to watch those than to read chat. LOL
Are daytime temps going to be warm enough for melting for a while?

Hi there Kathy - dropping by late Fri night.

Snow storm has arrived here in Western Pa. My deck is full of it already- Suppose to go all night into tomorrow. But will melt off next week with temps up.

Am all cozy here. Plenty of food and juices. Even a botle of Wine I’ve had since I toured the Great Lake area Wineries. Wine tasting is fun so you can’t go wrong in what you purchase.

Thinking of our troops and hoping none are in the Ukraine battles - though I suspect they are so i pray.

Tomorrow is the last day of daytime temps above freezing for a week or so, or so they say. Nights back into the teens. We will see.

What a change for you...70 to below freezing. Hope it warms up soon.

I did too, but I can only imagine what went through her pea brain. She must have shook the snow off...she’s clean now. But it’s still snowing hard. I’ll bet it’s the same way at your house. Maybe you’ll get some cool pictures.

I want to eeeaaaasssseeeee into spring, not have it hit me over the head and go straight to summer. That’s brutal and it happens. Ugh

Ugh! That’ll make any wet spots turn to ice and if wet spots are on the streets ..... yeeeha when driving.
I hope your deck is dry. If not, keep those spikies handy!

Yes, today has been a wild one. It was so nice and comfortable this afternoon I had a couple of windows opened a bit. Now we’re at 30 and it’s supposed to be close to 20 by morning. We had sleet just long enough to cool the ground so the snow’s sticking already. I went out to bring in the rain gauge a few minutes ago and the wind hurts. BRRRRRR

But we’ll be in the 50s Sunday after staying below freezing tomorrow. A whiplash roller coaster ride. LOL

A very pleasant good Saturday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks to our DJ's for posting the music to today's thread.

Be sure to support these artists by buying their music and attending their concerts when they come to your area.

How's everyone doing this morning?

She’s shaken herself a few times. The good thing is the snow around her is helping to keep the wind off the babies. She can barely cover all three with her body nowadays.

It’s snowing fairly hard here but the flakes are small. It’s still sticking and piling up quickly though. The wind is very unpleasant too.
I don’t have any plans to go out to take pics with the wind blowing like it is. It isn’t supposed to let up tomorrow and wind chills are supposed to be in the teens. Snow pics aren’t THAT important to take. LOL

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Were you and Gizmo able to get out yesterday or was it a day to stay home with the heater?

I have to be out tomorrow, so slow is the key word.

And my deck is bone dry, thank goodness. I’ve been keeping the ice chipped off, so it’s gone now. And I’ve shoveled off the top 3 steps going down. I need to work on the rest of them before the snow gets too hard.

Hope you don’t have to go out til the temps rise.

No, I wouldn’t go out either. If I can’t get one at the door or window, then to heck with it. Especially when it’s as cold and wet as it must be for the snow to stick like it is.

Ha! We have the same temperature right now. About 28. Only ours will begin to go up almost to 60 tomorrow and yours will in a day or so. I’m just glad for you that you’re in that house rather than the other one. Brr!

Good evening/morning, caww...glad you are nice and cozy and ready to wait out the cold and snow.

I too pray that none of our troops have to be involved in this mess. It’s not our fight.

2:15 am here I checked the snow depth already it’s at 4 and half inches - if it keeps up as this the coverage will be 10 or so. If the wind comes as some say it’s going to fly!

Just read that Jackie Chans brother is embedded with the Russian troops. Documenting as he goes along. I agree fully - not our fight.

I got gas at Costco yesterday...$4.40. I’ll check a couple stations when I’m out tomorrow.
