It’s gonna be bad, that’s for sure. We’re going to get the worst part of it on this end of the state when the west end usually does. The snow is almost here and the wind’s picking up. Wind chills are going to be brutal by morning.

It’s already snowing at DH and poor River was almost blown off the nest a few minutes ago.

Well, it’s not hot yet. It’s 34 degrees. But the month is young. LOL!

I just checked and whoever is on the nest is sleeping now, but it does look like it’s snowing there. Jeff Piortrowski showed snow in Memphis earlier on Twitter. Brrr. I do NOT envy you! Stay in and stay cuddled with the kitties!

That’s River on the nest and she went into “mombrella” mode a few minutes ago to protect the babies. Snow’s piling up on the nest fast!
If you go to 9:11 on the cam you’ll see how the wind gust flipped poor River over. She looked so stunned. What a heck of a wake-up!

We’re getting a brief hit of sleet at the moment but the snow line is just a couple of miles away.

It was 68 this afternoon and sunny for the most part. 35 now and dropping fast.
Thank goodness this will all be gone Sunday and next week looks wonderful.
