The economy is by far the most important issue to the American electorate right now–and the public is revolted at the way the Biden administration is handling its problems.
Fifty-percent of Americans say that the economy and inflation are the number one issue they want President Joe Biden and the Democrat-controlled Congress to make their top priority, according to a poll released Friday by the Wall Street Journal.

People should vote regardless, and do all they can. But you can wear your sunshine glasses and it won’t do much. Scolding people for being realists after the bad guys stole the last one is as bad as what you accuse the so called “doomers” of saying.
You are telling people to “Shut up and take it.”
And we’re only a week into gasoline hyperinflation…

That crowd infests many threads here on FR. I suspect quite a few of them have hidden agendas.

Huh? This is good news? I know he has positive media attention over 95% of the time, but come on. 39% really think things are “okay”?

Or like many restaurants in our area that have gotten rid of preprinted plastic menus and have switched to paper menus. It’s much cheaper and easier to print your own menus when your costs/prices are going up and up and up...
What do the vote counters think? That’s all that matters.
Inflation can quickly become a state of mind as everyone panics:
—Buy now before prices go up.
—Raise prices now before costs go up.
—Get higher wages before expenses go up.
In addition, people lose confidence in the future in inflationary times so they are less likely to make long term investments.
The reduction in capital formation then cripples the economy.
While monetary expansion ignites the inflationary fire, inflationary expectations can quickly turn it into a dumpster fire.
People ALWAYS vote their wallets, unless a war is imminent. I fully expect that Ukraine will be settled one way or the other well before November.
Now all we have to do is ensure that the phuckers don’t cheat again on a massive scale.
The other 50% are apparently happy about what Biden is doing & maybe they will until that achieves it’s ultimate outcome. It’s getting there fast. He is the leader of the liberals & it’s a shame that his decisions don’t affect just them & not the rest of us. Suppose Trump was our president & his decisions affected just conservatives. I think it would not be perfect, but perhaps we could live with it a bit easier. As it is now, there are those agreeing with Biden’s decisions, but their thinking is as flawed as his.

If it were the slightest bit true, there would be thousands of huge citizen-protests nationwide...
It is very disheartening that the only segments of society willing to express themselves through public protest are the scumbag criminal elements that gave us these problems to begin with...

Somewhere in the former Constitution there must have been a clause that said: “Under the threat of rape, smile and enjoy it...”
Can we steal a blue state senate seat with those numbers? It’s all that matters.
