The U.S. Senate passed a $1.5 trillion, 2,741-page omnibus spending bill on Thursday evening that will fund the federal government through Sept. 30 and send $13.6 billion in aid to Ukraine.
The bill passed 68-31 and now goes to President Biden's desk.
Nearly $14 billion in U.S. aid will go to Ukraine and European allies in the fight against Russia, including funds to provide humanitarian aid to the millions of Ukrainians who have fled, as well as funds for weapons.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to lawmakers in a Zoom call on Saturday for more help in his country's fight against Russia.

Best damn post I’ve read today...kudos.

house minority leader asleep at the wheel much?
The GOOBs are a friggin’ joke. Wasting that much of the taxpayer’s money to bail out the Xiden family cartel’s golden goose is a friggin’ crime. What a joke.
My Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney voted for it. I called her office last week when I learned she’d voted for the Resolution to give aide to Ukraine. I told the kid who answered the phone that I was very disappointed in her vote, and told him the reasons why. I also told him that after January 6th, I changed my party affiliation to “no party,” and will not be voting again. It’s a shame that President Trump already endorsed her for re-election this year. The Dems stole her seat in 2018, and after a long court battle post-election night 2020, she was finally seated in February 2021. She won’t have my vote to help her out this year, that’s for sure.
