LA PAZ, Bolivia -- The Bolivian soldier who pulled the trigger to execute famed revolutionary guerrilla Ernesto “Che” Guevara died on Thursday at age 80, according to his friends.
Mario Terán “simply complied with his duty as a sergeant of the army,” said retired Gen. Gary Prado, who led the group that captured Guevara in 1967 after a months-long pursuit.
Speaking to Radio Companera, he said Terán had died after a long illness. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Maybe he could have come to the USA and taught some courses on how to deal with communists and then handed out guns and target lists of our own communist scum.

I recall decades ago, I went to a Saturday evening service at what is now my former church, Centre Street Church. The evening services on Saturday and Sunday, were aimed at youth, so lots of 🎸🎸 and 🥁🥁🛢. One of the guitarists was wearing a ‘Che’ t-shirt.
I said to my now former wife, “Do you see what that kid is wearing!?”
She didn’t know who or what Che Guevara was. I explained to her, that he was a multiple murder, anti-Christian, atheist, psychopath, and that I didn’t think it was appropriate for a member of a church worship team to be wearing such a shirt in a church.
We went back on Sunday night and he wasn’t wearing that shirt. I would hope that a Pastor took him aside and explained who Che was. Given that this church did NOT defend ANY of the Alberta Pastors arrested for preaching during the lockdowns, I do not attend that church any more. Their official denomination is ‘Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada’ but by their actions, their denomination, like MANY churches is, the ‘Church of Go Along To Get Along. It’s like they’ve forgotten to be ‘in the world’s not ‘of it’s.
I would say more like hot-blooded psychopath.
It disgusts me to see his picture on T-shirts.
The Bolivians took the trash out with Butch and Sundance, too. Definitely not tolerant of foreigners arriving there and stirring up trouble. An admirable trait.

I knew someone who worked there in the 60’s. He told me the locals hated the Marxists. They were armed gangs who preyed on the villagers. I think of that every time I see some idiot with a Che’ t-shirt.
I’d have to see about photo rights but I’d pay $50 for a t-shirt with his picture on it.
