Former National Security adviser John Bolton said Wednesday on SiriusXM’s “Julie Mason Mornings” that Russian President Vladimir Putin did not invade Ukraine during Donald Trump’s presidency because Trump was undermining NATO.
Mason asked, “What do we get wrong about Putin in this country? How do we misapprehend him?”

There was a time, when I first heard about Bolton, that I thought he had a lot to offer USA ... he sounded quite bright back then, and some of his ideas made good sense or so it seemed. Maybe others who knew him better... knew better about him. To me as a newcomer ... he seemed quite promising...

Yeah because Putin just loved providing the Ukrainians javelins - which Obama refused to do. He also LOVED LOVED LOVED American fracking going full bore ahead. Yes siree. There’s nothing Vlad loves more than cratering the price of oil and gas worldwide. He loves it when you hoover money out of his pocket.
I’m sure he also liked those Defense increases that saw the US military replenish its weapons and equipment after Obama’s procurement holidays. Putin just loves a stronger US military.
He was also very fond of the sanctions we put on Nordstream II halting its development. He didn’t want to make more money selling the Germans more gas anyway.
I’m sure wiping out 200+ Russian mercs who attacked an oil field we were holding in Syria put a twinkle in his eye too.
