Nearly half of single women in the U.S.—a larger percentage than single men or married couples—supported or were actively involved in racial justice protests in 2020, according to a gender-based giving study released Tuesday, coinciding with the International Women’s Day.
Around 48.2% of single women surveyed supported racial justice causes, such as Black Lives Matter, Say Her Name, and others, compared to 40.9% for single men, and 40.3% for married/partnered couples, according to the report titled Women Give 2022: Racial Justice, Gender and Generosity by the Women’s Philanthropy Institute (WPI) at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy of Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
Overall, a much smaller portion of the population (14.2%) actually donated money in support of racial justice.
Compared to single men or couples, single women were also more likely to give to racial justice organizations or grassroots organizations, and to take action by donating to political candidates who supported their views on racial equity issues, according to the report.
“Despite being disproportionately impacted by the global pandemic, women of all backgrounds have contributed to racial justice movements in countless ways, from participating in marches, to financial support, to contacting elected officials to demand police accountability,” Una Osili, associate dean for research and international programs at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, said in the report.
Funded by grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, WPI releases a series of Women Give reports each year, exploring various factors that shape gender-based giving patterns. This attitude survey was conducted online among a general population sample of 2,073 households in May 2021.
The report also looked at how different racial identity groups gave differently to social justice causes. It found that Black households were significantly more likely to indicate support for the 2020 racial justice protests (69.7%)

i’ve noticed GW asks less often to round up “to support the mission” before 2020 it was every damn time. and i agree, the boss of GW is already rich.
i guess that’s how he stays rich.
Betcha I’ll be paying more attention to the annoying coupons that get spat out at every register.
Usually they’re something useless to me, like a dollar off some pricey cosmetic or something but dang, was I ever tickled by that one.
I can use the savings to buy a 1/3 gallon of gas, now!

Paradoxically, there’s a local thrift shop that all the money goes to shelter dogs and cats.
Them, I do not ask for change back and like last time, I couldn’t find anything I really could use so I just gave them 2 bucks for a 1 buck bag of slip collars I might need, some day.
Other times, I bought nothing but gave them a couple bucks anyway.
I *know* they’re not rich and giving to animals is something I’m happy to do.

in lieu of home economics, modern western women are taught in schools to “go their own way” by associating with and donating to popular liberal non-profit organizations (often feminist oriented).
women are still biologically programmed to seek out and follow alpha males. this conflicts with school and social programming to follow class and gender group leadership in non-profits.
still, most women decline to study STEM majors in which they could obtain better financial independence, because it is not the non-profit way. the resolution is to seek out male doctors, lawyers and engineers, marry them, and divorce them a couple of years later, while continuing their alignments with non-profits and, when circumstances require, using alimony to sustain themselves. it is a default solution: there is no guidance that it is in any way wrong or contradictory to follow this path.
at least that is what seems to be happening from my unscientific monitoring of social media.
if all this is true, wester women have been programmed to be toxic to single professional males from early childhood.
for men on a date, the queue to recall a conflicting appointment (ahem) is when the woman casually drops a comment that trump is {racist, sexist, whatever}. this is a shyte test to determine the political alignment of the male. if the male ignores it, then the female may consider herself free (according to her conscience) to help herself to whatever wealth the male has, and then dump him once her legal hooks to his income stream are embedded.
single working professional males avoid almost any chance of this evil when dating single asian women born in asia. the answer for single working professional males is, therefore, to date single asian women born in asia exclusively. it’s analgous to taking up flying single engine aircraft. sure, you can do it, but the statistics are against you, so why?
My female spouse would donate if she could do it without discovery, since she suffers guilt from White Privilege, and she is the worst kind of racist, Bigotry of Low Expectations, as dear Rush would call it.
