Pretty sure these are all non-starters.

Sounds like a great deal to end a war.

Are you going to go to war with Putin to take originally Russian Crimea, largely settled by Russians away from Russia and give it Ukraine who only had it in the first place because Kruschev assigned it administratively to Ukraine? Are you going to go to war with Putin so that the Eastern Russian districts that have rebelled against Ukraine can be forced to be part of Ukraine? And are you going to do all of that so you can get another couple of cities to build NATO andministrative buildings in and hire European bureaucrats at high salaries to sit in - all paid for by .... you do know who the mark in the room is don’t you?

Dunno.
Number one should be a no brainer. Ukraine will not be part of NATO.
Number two is recognizing the situation as it actually is. Russia holds the Crimea and Ukraine has zero chance of dislodging them.
Number 3 is an issue. There are a lot of resources (oil, gas, and coal) in the Donblass area. Ukraine probably deserves some sort of compensation for lost revenue.

IN any case, Putin’s price has actually come down!

Ukraine would be wise to accept this very generous offer.

“Pretty sure these are all non-starters.”

They should not be. Zelensky should agree. His country’s infastructure is being completely destroyed, thousands of lives are being sacrificed. People are starving and desperate. He is losing his population wholesale.

Agree now and bide your time. Putin will be either dead (illness) or out of power in a few years. Get stronger and make a move in a few years. A Pyrrhic Victory is not a Victory.

The whole world (major fuel, food, and equipment shortages) is going to suffer because he stands on a few principles?

You’d be quite mistaken I think

Russia has basically quarantined the Uke military which has embedded amongst the civilian populace in the cities

Putin is hesitant to go Dresden or Baghdad on Kiev

The howl would be defeaning

Which is why the Ukes are holed up in that fashion

Most strategic military targets are neutralized

This war for now is how do the oligarchs keep power and globalists sated and Putin get what he wants which if this is accurate news what we figured he wanted all along

I thought he’d want regime change as well..

The US and NATO pledged not to expand closer to Russia, and they did anyway.

Of course, Russia said they wouldn’t invade and did anyway.

When everyone is lying there is no good faith talks possible

Why? which one?

For a 2 cent mickey mouse country like ukraine that has nothing to offer any country but snow and ice?

Because NO NATO air support is coming.

They are losing cities and will lose everything soon.

It’s what SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE in the first place to avoid a loosing conflict.

Take it and run.
