So that they can’t be de-platformed.
What about the many folks who may have walked across the southern border? Not to mention the tens of thousands of Afghan Trojan horses that have been dropped off here? And of course then there are the newly minted Ukrainian refugees. I’m sure the Russians wouldn’t sprinkle a few friendlies in with those.
Any signals monitored abroad can be transmitted back encrypted to the home country. That’s been going on for decades.
So is it me, or does it seem like the people taking the biggest hit over all this is us?

Is the Russian Zone anywhere near the Twilight Zone?
Send in drones, small planes, hot air balloons, containing leaflets, DVDs, zip sticks all with graphic pics and videos of carnage, asking “is your son being sent on this Devil’s errand?” and the like. Moscow needs an uprising on a par with Maidan ‘14.
This can be done from the Bering Strait, Eastern Poland, Eastern Ukraine, Arch Angel, and by informed, concerned citizens within Russia.
What will be lost is input from the outside world, so Putin can spin any lie he wants about what’s happening to Ukraine, or any other country that he attacks. If Ukraine falls, Moldavia would be next.
Russian hackers will still have their access.
