Sending arms is a win-win for the USA.

The Ukrainians want to die for their country. America benefits from the diminution of Russian military capability.

MacGregor sees no problem in surrendering to tyranny. Thank God he was not around in 1776.

Retired Col. MacGregor is an idiot who predicted that Ukraine would fall in 2 days, and that NATO would collapse as a result. So much for his professional judgment, eh?

In case he forgets, Russia has shared a border with at least one NATO ally for the past 70 years, and the USSR shared a border with even more. Yet...no invasion then. And the argument about missiles is simply ridiculous given that missiles don't have to be fired from a neighboring country anyway to make it to Russia. Russia can have a ballistic missile sub right off our coast that would be closer to Washington D.C. than any Ukrainian-based missiles would be to Russia.

The guy just wants to reconstitute the Russian Empire/USSR for his own ego-driven reasons. All the crap about Russia truly feeling "threatened" is propaganda.

Had the Ukrainians got the fighter jets they were told, they were gonna get, this woil,d be a whole different war likely, but the nation that was gonna send them backed out. That convoy of Russian tanks and vehicles might not have made it through had the ukranians had jets to help stop it perhaps. But at any rate, the jets woil, dhave been a huge boon to them

***Much as we would not tolerate Russian missiles or troops in Cuba. ***

We pulled our missiles out of Turkey as a result of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

MacGregor is a cold, steely-eyed effer. No diplomacy with that guy. Smart as heck.

Couldn’t get past Colonel in the kiss-ass army.

what i see is the Ukrainian version of the war of 1812.
Ukraine has declared itself an independent nation, with a few years between, when the putin empire denies that construct, and invades.as with 1812, the russian forces set out to conquer and burn the capital city and the buildings that defined it as the capital.

this time, instead of a standing army alone, every Ukrainian citizen that could carry a rifle and ammo, is doing so.

this is something putin does not really grasp. a free people fighting for the existence of their country, their land, their homes, and their continued freedom, is something deeper than any conscripted to military person would ever understand. IMHO, the russian people are still not “free”, and wll not be, until the last individual connected to the time before the fall of the berlin wall is dead.

Refuses to remember how we used Afghanistan to bleed the USSR. It’s not a hopeless endeavor.

America should sell Ukraine the weapons that it needs to defend itself at a profit.

Folks are calling Putin every name in the book......but please include Biden.....
He’s playing the same game with us....( actually, his advisors are)

He’s draining us dry.......and when the crapola hits the fan, where do we go?
What country do we escape to.

I can feel sadness for the people of Ukraine.....but I have only anger for how we are being played by this administration......by the hysteria ginned up by the media including Fox News).......by the misinformation, disinformation, lies!!!!!

I’m afraid and angry it will lead to our troops going over there!

This is Wag the Dog folks!
And we are the stooges!

... Stop Encouraging Ukrainians To Die In A Hopeless Endeavor"

Whether or not it is hopeless, that is for the Ukrainians to decide.
