Russia’s invasion of Ukraine enters its second week Thursday as fighting continues across the smaller country.

There were conflicting reports about which side controls the city of Kherson. Ukrainians still control capital Kyiv despite Russian efforts to overtake the city. Port city Maripol and Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second biggest city, experienced heavy shelling Wednesday.

Specific accounts of military activity are difficult to confirm as the situation on the ground in Ukraine can change quickly.

And it’s going to hurt the little people not the oligarchs.

Isn’t Ukraine the breadbasket of Europe?

The economy will expand again once they take total control.

My Russian brother-in-law (who lives in Moscow) is starting to feel it. He works in the automotive industry with American and Canada and with all this cancel this and that, I’m afraid he’s going to be out of a job in no time. His flight to Canada next week has been canceled and he said rumors are going around the office of a shut down. It’s all too bad because he just spent a small fortune on a new house a few months ago.

Russia gets most of it’s money from selling fossil fuels. If Junta Joe wanted GENUINE action he’d unleash American production. He is not only in thrall to the Carbon Cult but I SUSPECT he plotted this with Putin beforehand. Putin gets to play the bad guy but gets to keep Ukraine and enjoy higher market prices. Junta Joe gets his all his other issues pushed to the back pages plus , no doubt, a hefty kickback.

It was planned more than two weeks ago. The point was to replace Covid with some other item to scare us. Notice all the news leading up to the invasion and the pushing of Covid offstage?

People do not realize that all of Ukraine isn’t one people—Its divided into populations of Ukraine’s and Russians—who dislike one another. The Russians may well welcome Putin’s army and accept Russian Control. It is the Ukrainians who are the most patriotic anti-Russians who will fight and form partisan resistance. The nation will be divided in half at the river—Then all the Russian move to one side—all the Ukraine’s to the other. Two states will emerge. A Rump Ukraine and a new Province of Russia that will include Crimea. This is all very 19th Century. Has this happened anytime in the Modern world? YES—ask any Tibetan.

“People do not realize that all of Ukraine isn’t one people—Its divided into populations of Ukraine’s and Russians”

Incorrect. This may have been true 10 years ago, but after Putin invaded in 2014 the nation united.

It is Russian speaking Ukrainians in Kharkiv that are fighting like demons to kill as many invaders before their city falls.

The US is still the top food exporting country. Russia isn’t even in the top ten.

I don’t think you understand.

Ukraine will sabotage everything. EVERYTHING

Russia didn’t think this through.
