A declaration of a no-fly zone by NATO is a declaration of war with a nuclear power. This is madness.

NATO cannot enforce a no fly zone in Ukraine without killing Russians in the Ukraine and in Russia itself if it hopes to shut down Russian radar defenses and anti-aircraft missiles. If NATO tries this it invites disaster.

I favor a lot of economic sanctions on Russia, it’s various oligarchs including putin, and fully supplying the Ukrainian military. But I don’t support US troops pulling any triggers or pressing any buttons. That is a dangerous red line that should not be crossed.

Okay, then what? Putin says he’s going to use a nuclear weapon. If we back away from that challenge, if we don’t confront it, this is like a two-pair poker bluff, for incredibly high stakes.

He's pretty cavalier with the lives of the billions of people who could get nuked.

Of course, it would take the wind out of the sail of the Climate Change crowd. Not much man-made greenhouse gases during a Stone Age.

This guy should get a ticket to a public debate, much less
have a voice in one.

Alarming. If Clark says this is the end of Putin, I’m starting to expect the opposite. This guy has a nasty history and can’t be trusted.

Of course - I’m hoping he’s correct. To hear Macron tell it, after his long talk with Putin today- he wants ALL of Ukraine- not just the east region. Macron seemed genuinely shook.

With all of the condemnation of Russia why not amendment the un charter and remove Russia from the Un Security council. The council gave the USSR a seat so you could also say that since that country is no longer in existence That seat on the council is vacant.

Yeah, Wesley Clark is the person I want to hear from on such matters. NY Post has really gone downhill in a hurry.

Spare me Wesley Clark who tried to start a war with Russian troops over a parking lot or something. swartzkopf once said he had to send Wesley home early because he couldn’t play nice with others. 😆

A good friend did a stint of an Army officer in Wesley Clark’s era, and he described a semi-serious slogan among some of his fellow officers of the time: “Train for peace but pray for war.” Some of these guys live for this, consequences be damned.

Wesley Clark may feel good about calling Putin’s bluff on nuclear war, but I’m a tad less comfortable with that idea.

Making Putin a ‘war criminal’ while he is still in power gives him no reason to not take this war to the limits.

Clark is a sold out Schwab dope.

“Putin says he’s going to use a nuclear weapon. If we back away from that challenge, if we don’t confront it, this is like a two-pair poker bluff, for incredibly high stakes.”

Which way would you rather be wrong?
- Putin won’t nuke
- Putin will nuke
