Hammering away at each other is a tradition here. Going back to the early evo/crevo threads, continuing up through Q, and to the present day.

This is a huge volte-face for the Daily Mail. What gives?

Over the last 6 days, there hasn’t been a Ukraine meme they didn’t publish - from the Ghost Pilot to the Ukraine Models who signed up to fight.

If it was on Zoom, then Xi was there.

“He’s not taking it, hes cleaning it.”

Heard that on the radio today and it makes sense. After all, why try to hold on to territory where you’re universally hated...it can only become another Iraq.

I spent 30 years looking at how the Russians fight.

I am not surprised by how they are fighting.

Is taking the country really the objective? Or is the goal to force Ukraine to become a non-aligned buffer state? Or to install a Russia-friendly government? Or to push Russia’s border further from Moscow? I don’t have the answer.

If Putin’s goal is to destroy Ukraine he can do it. If his goal is to conquer the Ukrainian people he has a long and costly way to go.

There is a big difference between Ukraine and Afghanistan.
Ukraine actually has buildings and infrastructure and railroads, and factories. Afghanistan is a mountainous desert with nothing outside of Kabul. Ukraine can suffer Billions in losses from bombs and rockets. Afghanistan only creates dust storms.

“Ukraine is being LIBERATED by Russia, not attacked. The are removing the Khazarian mafia, the US biological weapons labs, and the Biden/Obama money laundering operations. My organizations speaks to dozens of people currently living in Ukraine and they are so happy that liberation has finally come. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE MEDIA....ALL STORIES ARE LIES. The enemy is in the gates, not in Russia. CLUE IN”

Initially believed that the spirited Ukrainians fighting on their own terrain were doing a very credible defense and had a chance to making this a catastrophic quagmire for the Russians. They are still fighting hard and causing real problems for the Russians, militarily, economically and politically. However when that Russian “forty mile column” just north of Kiev just sat there, was never attacked by long range artillery, mortar or sapper teams ( as the NVA and VC did in Vietnam) especially since the Ukrainians know the terrain, came to the conclusion that the Ukrainians are simply not capable of resisting effectively much longer. Try to imagine if such your capital city had a hostile, long column of vehicles, supplies and troops sitting in the open for two days. Are there not any daring imaginative Ukrainian commanders?

"But Ukrainians have hated Russians for a long time, not so with Afghanis."

I really want to like your theory but I have to ask you to please explain how Russia ruled the Ukraine for over 300 years.

Maybe he’ll end up keeping those eastern provinces after all and ‘giving’ the rest back in an act of maginiminity.

Putin’s goal must be to collapse the ruling regime and replace it with pro-Russia puppet regime.

If Putin gets Ukraine, he controls all its oil and gas supplies. Europe will have to bow and scrape to him because they stupidly banked on “green” energy

Strategically, Putin's advance on Ukraine began well over a decade ago, when he invaded and Balkanized Georgia by recognizing the Kremlin's puppet regimes in the regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

In 2014, Putin occupied and annexed the strategic Ukrainian region of Crimea, which served as a launchpad for the current invasion.

Putin paid little price for either action.

Forgot to note that both were preceded by CIA/Soros Color-revolutions.

Another point everyone needs to be honest about if they wish to see the world clearly - the USA is not the only country which feels it has a right to have a "Monroe Doctrine."

Further, the Ukrainian people are smart, educated and sophisticated. Afghanis can’t count, don’t know left from right, and only stick around until paycheck time then disappear for days weeks etc.
