The stock market, in Jimbo Carter's final year, did pretty well and it wasn't because of anything that administration did for the economy. It was because double digit inflation and unemployment made corporate earning grow on paper.
If you subscribe to Bernie Sander's Facebook posts, he is already demonizing corporate America for the same reason.

What roaring economy? Any excess income people might have had under President Trump is now being eaten up by inflation, and the high cost of gasoline, and home heating oil/natural gas. I

Atlanta Fed GDPnow published 1 March has 1Q GDP at 0.0%. Is ZERO growth now considered a booming economy? To me it sounds like 1Q might end of being a negative GDP quarter and an official recession being called after 2Q is also negative.

Let’s see what excuses they come up with for Biden when gas goes to $10 a gallon.

“[t]he economy — and this is an important point — hasn’t added one single job from the 2019 high watermark. Not one. All the jobs that we have seen gained are recovered jobs that were lost.”
How does Bloomberg even live with himself after perpetrating this type of FRAUD, he should strongly consider blowing his brains out with a 44 magnum out of Shame.

What has Biden done to help the economy? He inherited an economy that was roaring back and that was being compared to the pandemic dip of 2020. Biden has
- raised the price of energy, which may be the largest driver of inflagtion.
- Spent an additional $1.9 Trillion on covid relief
- Spent an additional $1 trillion on infrastructure
- Taken credit for vaccines developed during Trump's administration.
- Issued vaccine mandates that he didn't have authority to issue and those were overturned by the courts.
- Gave a green light to Russia to invade Ukraine both by stating we wouldn't engage, and by saying Putin had to do something.

The administration has loosened the dogs of inflation against us. The roar Bloomberg gears is the anger of the formerly- middle class and workers who can no longer afford basic necessities or who are forced to ration them down (like, one meat dinner per week or whatever).
Times are getting tough, and fast.

If you can’t get 10% on stocks this year, you will lose money. I’d put chances of that as somewhere between none and zero.

FWIW I’m giving Brandon all the credit for the 20¢ raise in the gas price today. While filling up, I noticed the scraped off remains of a sticker next to the gas price. Wonder if it was a “I did that” sticker.
