Which country?
Anyone with half a brain understands that batteries just store power; it still has to be generated. There is not nearly enough power generation capacity to support EVs.
Any what is that power generation going to use? Wind, solar, and unicorn farts are not going to do the job.
Personally, I think this is all about forcing Americans into cities and on to public transportation. Serfs don’t need cars.
