The West must not build military facilities in any countries of the former Soviet Union, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was quoted as saying on Tuesday.

Lavrov, quoted by Russian news agencies RIA and TASS, also said Moscow found it unacceptable that some European countries hosted U.S. nuclear weapons and was taking measures to prevent Ukraine from acquiring similar weapons.

Can I say I understand this demand w/out being a Putin lover?

I wish we still enforced our own Monroe Doctrine.

Putin needs to be removed from power, no matter how we do it.

The thought of nukes in Ukraine must scare the bejeebers out of Putin.

So that means the Baltic States, formerly part of the U.S.S.R., must be disarmed.

In other words remove your military bases so we can move in and reassemble the Soviet Union.

My goodness, next week they'll be sailing up the Thames, telling the women over loudspeakers to wear kerchiefs or they'll nuke Manchester.

Is killing your child a worthy cost? Selling your wife into prostitution? It’s for world peace after all

Putin himself has nukes in Kaliningrad

If there is going to be a big negotiation and if there is any thought of letting Putin keep Crimea, then in return he should give Kaliningrad back to Europe

Historically it has nothing to do with Russia, it is a relic of where the armies happened to end up in 1945

They were doing this stuff prior to Trump, then paused and bided their time until he was gone, the resumed. And Biden funded them with his energy policies.

We should encourage them to place more of thier nukes in Cuba, Venezuela and other South American Countries in order to show them that it’s no big deal. /s

Fine with me. I don’t want to waste my tax dollars on putting military bases in foreign countries anyway.

Who were the ones that were against President Trump getting better relationships with Poland and Hungary? What was one of the “tools” they used?

It was the Democrats and their able bodied Assistant Democrats and they hated both countries because of how they, successfully, handled the muslim refugees. Especially by not taking any and telling the EU to pound salt up its a$$.

If I’m not mistaken both countries have offered to build bases for US troops. And President Trump was supportive of that, was he not.

It would have been nice to pack up our stuff in Germany and move it all.

Question:

How would we feel if China or Russia had short range nukes in Canada or Mexico?
