the worst impacts can be averted - if we act in time

ie higher taxes and more government control.

OMG, the small window is closing fast!

I will believe it when John Kerry and Algore fly commercial, and live in normal sized houses.

I saw a presentation attributing human intelligence to the dramatic, periodic shifts in flora and fauna caused in Africa by the African plate periodically closing off the Mediterranean sea. Africa would shift from jungle to savanna and dessert over a short time about every thirty thousand years. So, climate change has been happening in far wider swings than now for the entire history of Earth. But now it’s our fault? Not buying it. So we need to destroy our lifestyle and live in the wet in the dark in case the climate might change? Sorry. No.

When Al Gore gives up his jet-set lifestyle and his sea side mansion, okay, I’ll worry. (Not much, maybe a little.)

I’m 78 and lived in Upstate NY all my life. Not a damn thing has changed. There is no event that has not occurred before.

Climate changes; this is a true statement.

Governments always want money; this is also a true statement.

Climate change studies and recocomendations are all attempts at governments getting more money; this is also a true stament.

Governments are competent to manage climate change; this is a false statement.

Wow, things are worse than we thought - and they've been telling us we're at the point of no return for years, decades even. Oh, and the small window is closing fast - we've been hearing that for just as long, decades.

Somehow, packing ourselves into cities, where we are even more reliant on modern technology is the answer? Somehow, more taxes and government control is the answer? Excuse me if I don't see how sending more money to DC for some {censored} politician to waste on a pet social project to buy re-election votes is going to "save" the climate.

I'm pretty sure the climate has been changing ever since the Earth has had a climate (several billion years now), and that it is going to go right on changing right up until the sun expands to a red giant, frying everything in a few billion years.

I can guarantee Brandon cites this “science” in his SOTU “reading” tonight as he explains that we cannot produce more energy and the answer is we need to lower consumption.

I don’t think he or Jen have an answer as to how I can lower consumption right now that I need to fill my LP tank so I can heat my home. Keeping the temp at 67 isn’t a solution.

I just filled up my car at $4.15/ gallon as the pundits keep saying gas might soon hit $4/gal? The extra few hundred a week was my dining out money, I’m sure Biden won’t suffer as all he does is have dinners made for him.

1,000 years of tree rings show drought is normal in California, far more normal than wet years. Droughts of 100-200 years are recorded in those rings.

Yet we are told the latest 10-year drought in California’s arid climate is “unprecedented in history” and “caused by man-made Global Warming.”

I don’t believe any of it. It’s about controlling the population.

Coral Reefs are healthier than ever.

The report is based on a high point to low point to intentionally deceive.
