Press service of Prigozhin #1306 We publish a request from the editors of the publication “Vek” and the answer:
Good evening, Evgeny Viktorovich!
Today in your comment (#1305) you told the story of the capture of Palmyra.
According to our information, a special medal “For the Liberation of Palmyra” was developed in the Ministry of Defense. Do you know about it? Did the fighters of PMC “Wagner” receive this medal?
We publish the commentary of E.V. Prigogine:
“No, none of my fighters received this medal. Why? Out of jealousy. It often happens with us that there is a distortion of history in favor of individual individuals who do not take part in the creation of this history, but, using their bureaucratic position, try to steal this history. I hope you understand what I'm talking about it. By the way, almost every secretary in the reception room has this medal in the Ministry of Defense. But none of the more than a thousand fighters of the Wagner PMC who took Palmyra received it, just like the Ministry of Defense medal for Syria.”
Putin’s intentions are clear for the world to see. No one should be fooled by Russia’s litany of lies

Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, March 3, 2023
Ukrainian forces appear to be setting conditions for a controlled fighting withdrawal from parts of Bakhmut.
Russian officials continued to release limited information about the March 2 incursion in Bryansk Oblast but failed to provide clarity about what actually transpired.
Russian President Vladimir Putin did not address the reported situation in Bryansk Oblast in an emergency meeting with the Russian Security Council according to the meeting’s readout.
Russian authorities continued efforts to portray Russia as the only safe operator of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), likely to constrain the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) presence at the ZNPP and compel the de facto recognition of Russian ownership of the ZNPP.
Russian forces continued offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line.
Russian forces continued ground attacks along the Donetsk Oblast front line as Ukrainian forces appeared to prepare for a controlled withdrawal from at least parts of Bakhmut.
The Kremlin continues efforts to increase government oversight of the Russian defense industrial base (DIB).
Russian occupation authorities continue to prepare occupied territories for the September 10 Russian regional elections.

“For 2 weeks, Belarusian partisans, using civilian drones purchased in a store, conducted aerial reconnaissance at the Machulishchi military airfield.
During one of the successful reconnaissance operations, the drone not only flew into the protected area of the specified airfield, flew near the Russian AWACS A-50U military aircraft, but even landed on its radar station (“dish”).”

Incredible footage of combat in the residential area of Bakhmut. The enemy is on the same street as the Ukrainians, 15 meters away. The task, at a minimum, is to create a flurry of fire to prevent enemy assault.

Rheinmetall wants to build a tank factory in Ukraine
The western allies have been laboriously scraping together tanks for Ukraine for months - but the country probably needs hundreds more. Rheinmetall is now negotiating with Kiev about setting up its own Panther production facility.
The Rheinmetall boss was convinced that the plant could be protected against Russian air raids. “Protection by anti-aircraft defense would not be difficult.” The Ukraine needs 600 to 800 tanks for a victory, emphasized the Rheinmetall boss. In order for the crowd to come together, the construction of new tanks would have to start quickly. “Even if Germany gave up all of the 300 Leopard 2 tanks available to the Bundeswehr, that would still be far too few.”
Rheinmetall: The war will “probably last for years.”
According to the current status, Rheinmetall is making around 250 tanks available in connection with the Ukraine war: “We are working at full speed,” said Papperger. “We have already made more than 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles operational, and by the end of the year there will be around a hundred. Around 30 tanks are ready out of 50 Leopard 2A4s. In addition, there are around a hundred Leopard 1s of an older design, of which we can make 88 usable again from today’s perspective.”

An E-6B Mercury aircraft, which performs functions of an air command point of the US Navy, landed in Iceland on Tuesday, 28 February.
Source: the European Command of the Armed Forces of the USA (USEUCOM) on Twitter, as cited by European Pravda
Quote: “A US Navy E-6B Mercury [aircraft] assigned to the Strategic Command of the US Wing One arrived in Iceland recently, while conducting operations in the USEUCOM area of responsibility. The crew met with the US Ambassador to Iceland Carrin Patman and other diplomatic and military leaders.”
The E-6B Mercury is the American military strategic control and communications aircraft as well as a command point of the US Navy. It is also called “judgement day aircraft”.
It is used for communication with nuclear submarines of strategic purpose that serve as intercontinental ballistic missiles carriers. These are the submarines of the Ohio class. Each submarine can have up to 24 Trident II D5 missiles, capable of carrying nuclear warheads, on board.
E-6B Mercury was based on the Boeing 707-320 passenger airliner. It is capable of ascending to up to 12.8km, its practical range is 11,760km.
Background:
* After the announcement by Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, the Russian Parliament at the sitting on 22 February voted for the law which terminates Russia’s participation in the New START treaty [a nuclear arms reduction treaty between the United States and the Russian Federation with the formal name of Measures for the Further Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms – ed.]
* Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of NATO, called upon Russia to reconsider its decision about the termination of its participation in the START treaty, and Joe Biden, US President, called this decision “a big mistake”.
* The Russian side blames the US for its decision to terminate the START treaty and promises that it is not going to increase its own nuclear potential due to this.
Russian forces appear to have secured a sufficient positional advantage to conduct a turning action against certain parts of Bakhmut but have not yet forced Ukrainian forces to withdraw and will not likely be able to encircle the city soon.
The purpose of a turning movement is to force the enemy to abandon prepared defensive positions and is different from the aim of an encirclement, which is to trap and destroy enemy forces. The Russians may have intended to encircle Ukrainian forces in Bakhmut, but the Ukrainian command has signaled that it will likely withdraw rather than risk an encirclement.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu met with Eastern Military District Commander Colonel General Rustam Muradov in western Donetsk Oblast, likely to assess the extent of Russian losses around Vuhledar and the possibility of a further offensive in this direction.
The Chinese government is reportedly angry with the Kremlin over the publicization of arms sales discussions.
The Economist reported on March 2 that an unspecified European official claimed that the Chinese government wanted discussions of lethal aid to remain secret so that China could maintain its image as a neutral mediator.[9] CNBC reported on March 3 that US officials have indicated that information regarding Chinese considerations to send Russia arms was an assessment ”gleaned” from Russian officials.[10]
Russian State Duma Defense Committee Head Andrey Kartapalov encouraged Russian companies to purchase their own air defense systems to defend against drones.
The Wagner Group reportedly opened at least three new recruitment centers at Russian sports clubs between March 2-4, possibly to augment Wagner's recruitment base after losing access to prisoner recruits.
Russian forces conducted offensive actions along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line.
Russian forces continued efforts to encircle Bakhmut and conduct ground attacks along the Donetsk Oblast front line.
Ukrainian sources continue to report that Russian forces are trying to set conditions for offensive operations in southern Ukraine.
Chechen Republic Head Ramzan Kadyrov continues apparent efforts to increase Chechen influence within Russia through promoting Chechnya's Special Forces (SPETSNAZ) and youth policy efforts.
Russian occupation administrations are strengthening law enforcement measures in occupied territories.

The fight between Strelkov/Girkin and Prigozhin/Wagner:
Press service of Prigozhin
#1312 We publish a request from the editors of the Dixi News news agency and the answer:
Dear Evgeny Viktorovich, today Igor Strelkov wrote in his Telegram channel that you need to be completely withdrawn from the front and removed from the leadership of Wagner PMC? Have you seen this statement? Can you comment?
We publish the commentary of E.V. Prigogine:
“To discuss Strelkov, in my opinion, is simply indecent. All offers were made to him: to go to the front, and to work in PMC Wagner. If he wants, he can come to the council of commanders and ask him to head the Wagner PMC. I agree with all his decisions. As soon as he was criticized, only a lazy person did not piss in his face. And he sits and sprinkles feces. Therefore, why should I comment - I do not offend girls. And the fact that Strelkov is a woman is already, in my opinion, clear to everyone.
