an invasion that is mysteriously rationalized by an amazing number of people on the right I keep seeing references to Putin's supposed support from the right, but I haven't actually seen people on the right supporting Putin's move into Ukraine. What's going on here?

I keep seeing references to Putin's supposed support from the right, but I haven't actually seen people on the right supporting Putin's move into Ukraine. Hillary Clinton said so. And probably 17 intel agencies will confirm is any moment.

IMHO it’s the WH and media trying to marginalize and discredit the right.

It’s just the further division that they want to create. Look at how they labeled president Trump pro Putin simply because he had the nerve to call the man smart. Playground politics.

It’s the Left trying to heap any support of Putin and his objectives as being something that Conservatives/Republicans support. Going into November the Dems will try to paint the Right as being pro-Putin
They won’t mention that Team Soetero/CornPop gave Ukraine MREs and blankets.
Pres Trump gave them Javelins, that they seem to be using, quite effectively and his stance with NATO is forcing those countries to step up rather than hide behind a US Armored or Infantry Division

What I see is people are analyzing what they think is going on regardless of the propaganda flying around, and anyone who doesn't immediately fall in line with pumping up the pro-Ukraine narrative is characterized as supporting Russia/Putin.

Conservatives don't support putin.
As an independent conservative, I don't trust reporting from any side, government, or media outlet.
If my not praising the heroes of one side or condemning the demons of the other side means that I've chosen sides, then that's just ignorant.
I'm on the side of no American blood spilled.

You ask, “I keep seeing references to Putin’s supposed support from the right, but I haven’t actually seen people on the right supporting Putin’s move into Ukraine. What’s going on here?”
This is the new Democratic Party talking point; actually, it will probably be plank one in the Party platform for the 2022 elections, and, likely, a strident theme that Biden evokes tomorrow night.
