Ukraine has paraded captured Russian soldiers in dozens of online videos as Moscow finally admitted its forces have sustained heavy losses after pictures showing bodies of Kremlin fighters emerged.

Footage posted online show tied up 'demoralised and exhausted' Russian prisoners of war captured after they failed to break through Ukrainian defences in Kyiv and Kharkiv over the weekend.

Several of the videos were posted on a Telegram channel set up on Saturday by Ukraine's Interior Ministry called 'Find Your Own'.

Many Russian troops claimed that they believed they were conducting training exercises in the border regions and did not know they were being sent to invade Ukraine.

LOL! This is the Internet age! What DOESN’T get posted on the web! It could also stimulate more protests in Roosha when parents see their sons in this way.

The point is...they’re supposed to be the better of the two.

I would think it "better" to be parading unharmed prisoners of war than it is to be entering another country and killing its people.

You just don’t get it do you?

The garbage you are spewing is pacifist nonsense.

War is for wining, not being nice

I don’t believe you’re allowed to parade POWs under International Law.

No. But I'm guessing if you're a Ukrainian Solider, some UN Official wagging their finger at you is the very least of your concerns at the moment.

“I don’t believe you’re allowed to parade POWs under International Law.”

I came to say this. This does nothing to help the Ukrainian cause.

Fair point.

The Democrat corporatists have their propaganda up to “11”. The goal is to associate the right with Putin in the minds of the masses. This is their Hail Mary for the November midterms.

International Law is basically a joke, its a fence people desire to break now.

About the soldiers claiming they didn’t know their mission.
Maybe, but they’re also good liars.

Putin has lost the political support of the Russian people. Morale in the Russian army throughout the ranks is very low. The Russian nation is suffering. Putin has made a catastrophic , bad decision. In such situations the political infrastructure somehow ,someway removes the autocrat. Do any Freepers care to speculate just how long the distressed Putin remains in office? The West seems to be giving Russian politicians an out by placing all the blame on Putin.

my favorite story so far today is the pictures of the every day people trying to defend themselves in any way that they can. there is a certain resiliance to this that is what I would expect from old Soviet bloc countries.

It’s still not a good look. Ukraine’s focus needs to be on winning the hearts and minds of the international community.

Ukraine’s focus needs to be killing and humiliating the Russians so they will leave their country.

My favorite story of captured Russians.

In Kharkiv oblast, two Russian soldiers had their vehicle run out of fuel. So they went to the local Ukrainian police station and asked if they could have some fuel.

“Now we can have war again
Beware Houthis, Hamas, Hezbollah and all Iranian surrogates. Beware Taliban”

Those would be anti-woke, non-DNC approved wars - ain’t gonna happen.

CAN you show me the exact citation that prohibits film or video recording of POWS ? I looked up the Geneva Convention on treatment of POWs and I didn’t see it. Of course I could have missed it.

I do know there’s plenty of footage of German POWs from WWII readily available online. Maybe the Allies were war criminals too.

Saw on the news the other night that Ukraine forces shot down a Russian paratrooper plane with 200+ on board. Dang right they’re suffering losses. Plenty of them.

Now if only Ukrain would take out that Russian armored vehicle that was running over citizen vehicles just because.
