Yes. I think Trump's thinking for his first term was sort of -- I need political expertise; I need to assemble of team of insiders; I need Washington elite who will be loyal to me and help me. You know, people like Mueller, Barr, Romney, Christie, Mitchell, and that sort ..."
Didn't work out. Lesson learned: There are no Washington insiders who will help Trump.
Meanwhile, under Biden, you have a slew of incompetent Progressives who don't know what they are doing. That's not good, but we see it being done, so we know that it can be done.
I'm hoping Trump chooses Cabinet secretaries and Dept heads who have spent their lives as Hardware store owners, plumbers, and auto mechanics. Their loyalty is what is needed. Will they possibly be in "over their head"? Sure. But so is Biden, Harris, Buttigieg and all the rest of that crew. But let's clean house and fire everybody at the lower levels. Be ruthless. Some plumber from Peoria would probably do it, if the President asked him to.
Heck, I'd do it. Not because of money or power but for the country and help "The Donald" succeed.
