Russian President Vladimir Putin is “furious” that his invasion of Ukraine hasn’t been “easy” after Russian troops have been unable to take even one major city in three days of fighting, according to a member of the European Union Parliament who said he was citing Ukrainian intelligence reports.
“Putin is furious, he thought that the whole war would be easy and everything would be done in 1-4 days,” tweeted Riho Terras, who is also the former defense chief of NATO member Estonia, said in a lengthy thread on Twitter.

The difficulty vindicates Putin’s decision to attack now, since Ukraine was becoming more and more dangerous to Russia and an attack might be impossible in a few years even if Ukraine was not yet a NATO member.
Sounds like they are trying hard to set the scene doesn’t it.
He may be in a place that lends it’s ambiance to it. Who

Look, the Ukraine may make things difficult for the Russians,
but in time I expect to see Russia gain control. There may
be hell to pay from loyalist strikes going forward though.
I get the idea they are trying to make it look like the
Ukraine will prevent Russia from winning. I like the sound
of that, but I’m not betting on it.
