but in time I expect to see Russia gain control. There may
be hell to pay from loyalist strikes going forward though.

I don’t think the Russians have enough forces to capture Kyiv. Putin might settle for a cease fire that would have Ukraine recognize the independence of Dontesk and Lutansk. Ukraine promises to remain neutral. Violating the cease fire will have Russian troops “return”. This may allow Putin to “save face”.
I think you are right. All the over the top videos and you watch them and its like nothing. I think he has strategically knocked out the chemical plants which were a main objective. Cleaning out Neo-NAZI’s, that another issue.
