‘I need ammunition, not a ride’: Zelensky declines US evacuation offer

The US government offered to evacuate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from Kyiv — but he declined.

“The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride,” Zelensky said, The Associated Press reported, citing a senior American intelligence official with direct knowledge of the conversation.

Zelensky, 44, instead chose to remain in Ukraine’s capital as Russian forces brought the fight to the city streets, where gunfire and explosions were heard overnight Friday into Saturday.

No reason to not be in Kiev, except he’s one more mouth to feed. The Russians will shut off food and the city will surrender in days. They don’t have to do much shooting at all, other than at anyone foraging outside the city.

The US. doesn’t even have a head of state right now.

We’re the Headless Horseman nation.

Kinda wish we had Zelensky here and Biden there. Not that I’d wish that on Ukranians...

Not sure I believe this, I seriously doubt he’s still there.

He is posting updates of himself right there in Kiev. Will you say it's all CGI next?

Because basically it put Putin on the spot, to either invade or to look weak.

Oh yeah, the Russkies massing forces for more than a month, lying about withdrawing their forces, clearly staging the ground for an invasion from 3 directions, but it was Biden telling him "you're going to invade!" that actually made Putin do it! What brilliant analysis.

Then why was Zelensky was telling Joe to shut up? You think Zelensky didn’t know?

Then why was Zelensky was telling Joe to shut up?

Foolishness and appeasement to Putin by not taking any aggressive action and asserting that no invasion was imminent, such as mobilizing the reserves, for fear that it would be used as evidence by Putin of an imminent Ukrainian invasion. Ukrainian forces were not mobilized until maybe less than 24 hours before the invasion began.

Zelensky’s got guts, but every military forum I’ve frequented thinks he’s a putz. His dithering about mobilization has cost a lot of Ukrainian lives and reduced his chances of an outright victory to zero*. He’s the standard entertainment industry liberal who thinks war is caused by misunderstandings. It’s the Barbara Tuchman fallacy. Wars don’t start themselves. It requires a huge amount of planning and expense to get a war started. If Putin is doing all this stuff, he’s coming in, no ands, ifs or buts. There is no situation in which a war is started by a sudden whim. The stakes, risks and expenses are too high.

* That’s why if he pulls this off and wards off Putin, heck, some future writer may immortalize his exploits the way Macaulay recounted Publius Horatius’s:

[Then out spake brave Horatius,
The Captain of the Gate:
“To every man upon this earth
Death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better
Than facing fearful odds,
For the ashes of his fathers,
And the temples of his Gods.”]

That man is either very dumb, very brave, insane, or potentially a mix of them.

It’s fascinating that a leader and his cabinet are taking up arms to defend their country; by that I mean, “amazing” and, “inspirational”. Our leaders, even the higher-ups within the military hierarchy, are NOT going to pick up a rifle and defend the Capitol should the same happen here. They’re all too old, frail, both, or cowardly. The women have no excuses either.

Could you imagine AOC with a rifle? I can’t even finish that thought.

No worries, CIS troops will probably make sure that dirty Joo is dead soon.

Then FR’s pro Moscow/Beijing/Tehran (the true allies of the US deep state leftists), can proclaim victory, and really celebrate -

The Ukrainians are fighting much better than I thought they would, based on the doom reports our media told.

Ukraine and Russia Officials Negotiating a Meeting – Biden Administration Tells Zelenskyy to Stop, Only U.S. Permitted to Negotiate With Russia

Unfortunately for Zelenskyy an end to the fighting would be against the interests of the Biden administration. Highlighting the point, the U.S. State Department does not want Zelenskyy and Putin to meet. The Biden administration conveys a very telling message; from their perspective saying only United States is permitted to negotiate with Russia on behalf of Ukraine. Zelenskyy needs to stay out of it.

The arrogance and controlling attitude by the U.S. State Dept tells us all we need to know really.

The Biden administration has created this crisis between Russia and Ukraine for a convenient purpose, and the White House is not about to let Zelenskyy screw it up and create peace.

The U.S. wants President Zelenskyy to leave Ukraine so the State Department can take full control over the narrative. Zelensky is refusing to leave.

Biden and Obama were about to get wiped out in the midterms. Zel was asking Biden to stop talking about this.
So ask yourselves, would the globalists start a war to retain power.? Is Putin a globalist? If he is this all makes sense.
The phony sanctions against Russia.. if China is supporting them and needs food, they own how much farm land here in the USA.
So.. who is the bad guy here. Do I trust Biden, Obama and the globalists more than Putin. Has he really gone hitler.
