The sanctions, indeed maybe this whole conflict, is all just theatre
Biden has lost Europe.
One huge “tell” will be - if Russia is not removed from SWIFT.
Only Boris Johnson has mentioned it so far. It won’t be decided immediately because Biden needs his nap, and half of Washington DC and Brussels will need to be consulted first.
But if Russia remains on SWIFT, its a clue that NATO and the USA were just using Ukraine and its people to f*** with Russia, and were never truly united or serious in their purpose.

What if Russia, not having access/control of the world banking system, decides not to play by the West’s rules, decides to attack the world banking system both kinetically and via hackers.....
