Postal Service to Biden: We'll pass on the electric vehicles, thanks

Last summer, the Biden administration announced more details regarding the President’s plan to promote a massive increase in electric vehicle use in the United States, replacing internal combustion engine cars with all of their climate-wrecking carbon emissions. In December, they unveiled an ambitious plan to have charging stations in place around the country to keep the electric vehicles running. And, of course, Biden instructed all federal agencies to immediately start replacing their gas-powered vehicles with electric replacements. That was supposed to include the United States Postal Service, which operates one of the largest fleets of government vehicles in the world. Unfortunately for Uncle Joe, somebody at the USPS either didn’t get the memo or simply ignored it because this week they announced that the Postal Service is moving forward with its original plan to replace 90% of the fleet with gas-powered vehicles

The USPS is already struggling financially without needing to pay premium prices for boutique electric mail trucks that’ll break down more often than the sh**boxes they already use.

The Dodge Caravan. Workhorse of the postal fleet. Runs forever. Cheap to operate.

If the new vans run on natural gas, that’s already a huge win because natural gas emissions are way lower than gasoline or diesel emissions.

If only the rest of the country could middle-finger Brandon like the USPS does.

Something wrong with biden. He, like the insane left, seems to think that windmills and electric motors are going to save the world from bursting into flames.

They have demonized anything that uses oxygen for combustion and that releases CO2.

“I’m passing ‘em too”

What?! You don’t want a vehicle in your garage that may or may not spontaneously combust during an 8 hour charging cycle that it needs just to go another 150 miles???

I’m Shocked I tell ya...shocked! 😏

Given how slow mail carriers drive on residential streets, a horse/mule and wagon, would be better than an electric car in places.

More efficient to run NG in power stations generating electricity for EV’s.

I've always wondered why the USPS decided to buy these tanks (long life vehicles). Way more vehicle than they needed for several trays of mail and a few packages. Maybe they hoped to pick up more parcel delivery. Gas mileage must be lousy. The jeeps were the perfect size.

USPS had to remind Joe that they needed reliable vehicles in order to transport mail-in ballots to steal elections.

The US Postal Service is one agency that could operate a wood-burning fleet.

Instead of wood though, they could burn junk mail.

“Way more vehicle than they needed for several trays of mail and a few packages.”

Our carrier has been seen using a hand truck for the heavier packaged.
