Coronavirus numbers in California have fallen almost back to levels observed before omicron became the state's dominant variant, the latest COVID-19 infections and hospitalization data show.
California and many counties last Wednesday ended their mask requirement in indoor public places for the fully vaccinated, while Los Angeles and Santa Clara counties kept their mandates in effect. Masks remain mandatory throughout the state in several settings, including on public transit, in health care settings, at long-term care facilities such as nursing homes and at K-12 schools.

It’s over.
They can’t release control and slush funds and extra cash.
We just might from now on.
I am sure testing wastewater is an accurate way to check COVID levels. Nothing else would grow there...
But there is a difference. Common cold seldom, if ever, leaves permanent damage or kills. Covid in the past 2 years has killed 600,000+ Americans, and many Americans have suffered permanent damage to vital organs. However the deaths occurred mainly in very old or seriously comorbid people.
In my honest opinion fear of covid on the level demonstrated is unjustified. But if not fear, why would 250,000,000 Americans jab themselves with an experimental vaccine? No smart politician ignores voter’s perspectives, even if those are wrong.
Sars covid ii requires a live human host to grow in unlike bacteria that can survive in warm wet conditions most viri require live functional cells to replicate in.
Wastewater is an excellent way to check for levels of community spreading of not just covid but a lot of viri types. Since not everyone gets tested on a regular basis but as the kids book says “everyone poops” we all excrete billions of bacteria, virus and fungi with every bowel movement every day all of that ends up in the waste water conveniently drawn to a single point source.
More than one ever wants to know about the gritty of wastewater surveillance.

Bill Gates actually admitted in an interview the other day that Omnicron had “immunized the world” before they could.
Uh, yeah

You can’t believe anything anyone in government is saying these days.
That goes double for California Government officials.
This Friday is FREEDOM DAY! in California.
I wonder how many ‘Karens’ will be wearing a mask?
