House Republicans are scheduled to pick up at least ten House seats due to Democrat retirements alone, according to an analysis by left-leaning Punchbowl News.
Republicans are only in the minority by five seats with 30 total Democrat retirements, the largest mass exodus in three decades.

Reminds me when Paul Ryan for a bunch of republicans to retire when Trump was president. The difference being : Democrats are afraid they will lose , republicans were afraid they might win (and have to support Trump).
The retirements are nearly all hyper safe Dem districts. Way too much is made of this.
So, Democrats are retiring from seats, in districts that are solid Democrat and somehow a Republican is going to win?
Also, with the number of RINOs in Congress, the Republicans holding a 10 seat lead means nothing. Actually, it probably wouldn’t matter if they had 150 seat lead, if they aren’t about this country and the people, it doesn’t matter.
The writing may be on the wall but we can decide if it says Make America Great Again, or keep assisting the Democrats in destroying the country.
Most of the GOP incumbents for both House and Senate need to be replaced for it to make much difference.
They are Bush League Republicans fully committed to turning the USA into North Mexico.
They did it to throw the House to the Democrats.
Deliberately.
More blatant political treachery.
We MUST STOP re-electing Bush League Republicans.
IF elections were not now managed ‘off shore’ the prediction might stand.
What did republican control of the presidency, house, and senate get us last time?
Could not even defund PBS or Planned Parenthood.
yawn
In before the 1,000,000,000 “totally legit” mail in ballots arrive for counting by illegal aliens, felons and democrats if there is any difference.

Yup, and the “Relax, it’s a done deal, you don’t need to even vote since somebody else will do it for you!” vibe could come back to bite behinds in a big way.
MTG pointed out that the retiring Dems are generally in safe seats with more radically leftist zealots likely to take their place.
We need more dim retirements, this is not enough.
But, they're just lazy swamp creatures who think everything is still hunky dory, and there's not a group of World leaders who want to take American sovereignty and turn us into vassals....
Or, worse, they do know, and they just want to make nice with their good Democrat buddies so they can stay inside the gated communities while we normal people have to fight off criminals and crooked cops.
If a republican is unopposed in the general election, will he win the recount?
That’s been my point of years. It’s infuriating how utterly incapable they are is using their power to actually accomplish something.
The Democrats are starting to realize this and have adopted a “get everything we can now (spending, investigations, rule changes etc) mindset. They will measure 2022 in the amount of losses and what they can manage to hang on to.
Republicans would have kept the House and the Senate if it wasn’t for Paul Ryan style republicans. An unpopular president usually causes his party to lose control of congress but it took Trump’s own party losing on purpose for it happen.
That’s because we have been electing Assistant Democrats.
It’s time to replace them with real Republicans.
Well sure - things like the BBB bill would have been brought up for a vote and passed if the GOP controlled the agenda just the same as Pelosi and the Democrats. Schiff being in charge of the Intelligence Committee was just the same as when Nunes was in charge of it - you could barely tell them apart. Not a dime's worth of difference... < / s >
