“Putin is (mostly) in the right here.”
You’re correct.
The war hawks over at DU and Daily Kos have a different take on Russia.
They think sanctions and freezing Russian bank accounts will topple Putin because his business buddies will lose money and access to the West. Their thinking is Russian business people will force Putin out.
I see things much differently.
IMO if Putin gives up Ukraine or Belarus to the US/EU/NATO, the Russian Establishment would remove Putin for being weak & replace him with a tougher Russian nationalist.
Just my insignificant two cents, some freepers have a much different “take” on Russia & Ukraine.
Liberals never forgave Russia for abandoning Communism.
Hey JOE! You were good at intimidating Supreme Court candidates back in the day, but this is Vladimir Putin, former KGB tough guy Vladimir Putin. You’re gonna go toe to toe with him? HE’LL CHEW YOU UP AND CRAP YOU OUT SO FAST YOU WON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED UNTIL YOU ARE A STINKING PILE ON THE FLOOR.
JOE’s tough talk is gonna get us all in a good deal of trouble, I fear.
And then there’s China.
And then there’s Iran.
I hate to say it, but Putin is a much more competent leader for his country, right or wrong.
Joe Biden as scat. Makes sense.
Disagree, Putin seems to criticize Lenin for creating today’s Ukraine-Russia problem. Ukraine was an integral part of the Russian empire before Lenin, where majority of the population spoke a dialect, similar to Russian language.
Stalin is the one who made Russian the required language in all the Soviet Republics, he was, despite being Georgian, a Russophile, and Russian Nationalist, which went against everything that Lenin and Trotsky wanted.
There are much better sources for this speech than Alex Jones. Why not use them?
Yep, that's the bottom line, and they will suicide anyone or anything that doesn't toe that line.
Alex Jones predicted everything that’s happening today in a video called End Game he made in 2007.

Were you doing anything about it in 2007?
Tiny Time (oops, Joe Biden) went toe to toe with Putin.
Really?
Thanks CBS, is if he was ever in the mood to negotiate with
the West. LOL
Well right now, there are already several of these scattered through out the old Soviet Union. After the 15 states went independent, many of them had breakaway regions where Russians control the territories and are basically independent. There are 2 in Georgia and 1 in Moldova, not counting Crimea.

It must be very difficult for you, going through life as a whiny, stompy-feet little girl.
And Brandon called a lid on the day...
Watch Putin’s 45 minute address today to the Russian people. Its a history lesson, and he lays out his case for Russian action
Meanwhile Joe and Kamala can’t give us more than 5 minutes of cheap political slogans
BINGO! Putin is extremely methodical, cautious, and even internationalist. He's actually a voice of reason for Russian interests - and anyone who prays to topple him (which won't happen anyway), be prepared hardline nationalist and war-hawk instead.
My wife's family emigrated to an area not far south of Donetsk in the early 1800s. It was Russian then and was still Russian when they left in 1899. Ukraine, save for a small core always was Russia until the first quarter of the 20th Century. Prior to that, it was a vassal state to Russia.
Seems that way.
At this very moment we have troops in Syria helping the Kurds break off a third of that nation.
We helped moslem Kosovo break away from Serbia.
What goes around comes around.
“They think sanctions and freezing Russian bank accounts will topple Putin because his business buddies will lose money and access to the West. Their thinking is Russian business people will force Putin out.”
They do that and Germany and the EU get very cold and dark with no Russian gas. If that happens, energy prices will skyrocket here also.
I think the morons running the country actually believe you can attack someone economically but they will still make sure to deliver the goods and services you need. It’s childlike.
