What BS!!! .05 of an inch a year, that means 1 inch rise in 20 years. Looks to me like it would be well within the margin of error.

However, the time period of 1940 to 2000 registered the biggest rates of sea level rises – up to 0.05 of an inch per year.

Objectivity where?

Hmmm, I wonder how many times these Captain Obvious’ looked into or researched on how many times in the history of this planet that the sea levels rose and fell before doing this idiotic ideological driven alleged ‘study’....which are a dime a dozen these days given nearly all of the are nothing more than ideological backed and driven drivel. Yeah, all in the name of “science.”.........which is also now ideologically agenda driven.

So it has gotten warmer since the end of the Little Ice Age (1300 to 1850).

If it had not gotten warmer, then we would still be in the Little Ice Age.

Doggerland - The Europe That Was

A map showing Doggerland, a region of northwest Europe home to Mesolithic people before sea level rose to inundate this area and create the Europe we are familiar with today.

Things aren’t always what they seem on the surface. Looking at the area between mainland Europe and the eastern coast of Great Britain, you probably wouldn’t guess it had been anything other than a great expanse of ocean water. But roughly 12,000 years ago, as the last major ice age was reaching its end, the area was very different. Instead of the North Sea, the area was a series of gently sloping hills, marshland, heavily wooded valleys, and swampy lagoons: Doggerland.

Unless "modern is defined as he period of 1863 until now, sea level rise in the modern period began as the North American ice sheet collapsed about 7000 years ago.
