Rock group Aerosmith released a song in 1987 entitled, “Dude looks like a lady” about a man with an effeminate appearance who could be mistaken for a woman. Today the inverse is playing out in the athletic world, where a lady who looks like a dude -- a male who has transitioned to a female as much as basic biology permits -- is making a mockery of women’s sports.
I speak of Lia Thomas, a transgender University of Pennsylvania swimmer who last week, “Dominates 200 yard freestyle at Ivy League swimming championships and sets a new tournament record.” But Lia wasn’t always a woman swimmer. In fact, not too long ago she was a dude, but she looks more like a lady these days, yet she still swims like a dude, and that is where the problem lies.
Lia Thomas wins the 200 yard freestyle Ivy League 2022 women's championship by a wide margin
This saga began last fall and in brief involves a University of Pennsylvania swimmer named Will Thomas, an unremarkable member of the men’s team whose life and swimming career went on hiatus due to COVID. During his year off, Will the dude became Lia the lady, and is now a member of the Penn women’s swim team. While a mediocre men’s swimmer, Lea is anything but as a women’s swimmer. “UPenn trans swimmer, 22, sparks outrage by smashing women’s competition records after competing as a man for three seasons.”
As a female swimmer, Lia is the phenomenon she would not likely have been as a male swimmer. Sports Illustrated describes last week’s accomplishments,

I keep saying it but there’s no such thing as a transgender just a severe psychologically disturbed sub-human species that should be institutionalized.
As swimmers go, this guy is the complete package.
I’m rooting for this dude. He’s done more to destroy modern feminism than anyone else.
I think I see what you did there.
I think he is still ‘intact’. The pics I see of him have him holding a towel in front of his ‘stuff’.
Imagine a world where a man who did not amount to jack sh*t swimming with other men ‘transitions’ into women’s swimming and crushes all female opposition. Oh wait.....
Most of them are ‘intact.’ Tuck’n’Tapes I call them.
Lia,
“Grow a Pair!”
.
You’re Not a Man
and You are sure as
Hell no Woman!
All the world records in women’s sports these days seem to be held by men.
Agree
The women competitors have complained, among other things, he doesn’t always strategically hold his towel in place......~
“I’m rooting for this dude. He’s done more to destroy modern feminism than anyone else.”
I’m with you. And note how the author doesn’t even criticize Lia, and that’s because Lia’s not the problem - the problem is that Leftist ideology. As he notes, virtually any guy competing in the 2020 Olympics could have walked away with the women’s gold, and if nothing is done, that is all that will happen.
Let the Left sort this out, after all they started it all. Lia simply did the country a HUGE FAVOR by getting the discussion stated, and now, not allowing it to simply ‘go away’.
😂
I hate hearing....even on Fox News.....this charlatan referred to as a ‘she’
Male swimmers have an advantage in less water resistance. They do not have developed breasts, nor the wider pelvis and hips required for birthing. Their bone density is greater, sure, but their muscular development is also greater in the upper shoulders and thighs.
There was a reason why separate categories for established for men and women, otherwise we might have female linebackers on today’s professional football teams.
So, Lia can’t make it against other males (putting him in the beta category) and has to earn his medals the easy way.
The solution is obvious. All Universities must recruit males for the female swim teams to compete.
Of course he can swim better than the females...
He’s got a rudder.
