Pollster Frank Luntz said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that Republicans will win control of the House and Senate in the 2022 midterm elections and that only former President Donald Trump could prevent it.
Guest-host Jonathan Karl said, “Are Republicans feeling some anxiety about tying themselves too closely to a Donald Trump where it seems to be the legal walls seem to be moving in on him?”

He is right.
Trump does something the Rs are not used to. He tells the truth.
And says what he wants without fear.
Not sure why he hasn’t put a LOT more of his clout behind getting those poor folks who are still in jail from the “coup attempt” free. There may be valid reasons.
He has his issues. Who doesn’t. Mine could fill a vault :)
But he’s not afraid.
And too many Rs are terrified.

Trump’s (very high) approval rating among GOP voters indicates otherwise, Frank.
I never trusted Luntz’ polls or comments.
It’s the reverse, where Trump is the only person with the power to insure that republicans take back the house and senate.
