Trump does something the Rs are not used to. He tells the truth.
And says what he wants without fear.
Not sure why he hasn’t put a LOT more of his clout behind getting those poor folks who are still in jail from the “coup attempt” free. There may be valid reasons.
He has his issues. Who doesn’t. Mine could fill a vault :)
But he’s not afraid.
And too many Rs are terrified.
Of everything, it seems.

There is a false dichotomy of political power right now. After the 2022 elections over site of the federal government hopefully will be returned to the republicans and the persecution can end. Trump being out of office means he can’t do anything and in the time after jan 6thand leaving office 0n the 20th. Trump was unable to step in because the moment he did idiots within both house and Senat he would of been able to impeach Trump.
