Canada’s Justice Minister, David Lametti, has told Trump supporters who donated to the “Freedom Convoy” to “be worried” about having their bank accounts frozen.
Speaking with CTV News, when Lametti was asked if regular citizens who donated to the “Freedom Convoy” protests in opposition to the vaccine mandates should be worried about having their assets frozen by the government, Lametti singled out pro-Trumpers. The reporter asked:
You just compared people who may have donated to this to the same people who maybe are funding a terrorist. I just want to be clear here, sir. A lot of folks say, ‘Look, I just don’t like your vaccine mandates and I donated to this, now it’s illegal, should I be worried that the bank can freeze my account?’ What’s your answer to that?
“Well, I think if you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who’s donating hundreds of thousands of dollars and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, they oughta be worried,” responded Lametti.
Lametti also said that truckers could lose their trucking license if they participated in the protests or if their company permitted them to participate in the protest.

Well.... I guess eventually. I would point out that a lot of people probably thought this same thing in 1916 Russia. And 1930s Germany.
It’s already illegal by US law for a foreigner to donate to the Trump campaign, so I don’t know where this angle goes.
If Canada’s law is meant to result in seizing/freezing bank accounts in the US, that would take agreement from the US government. IOW, it is not illegal by US law to support the truckers with donations.

That's literally true as a matter of law. When you surrender money to a bank, it becomes the bank's property. You retain a claim, but not ownership.

Remember, it was the World Economic Forum that had on its website a video explaining how, ‘In 2030, you will own nothing and be happy.’ Why will ‘you’ own nothing? Because the OLIGARCHS will own EVERYTHING! Everything will be a ‘service’ (which you will pay a fee to use). As ‘YOU’ will not own a house, ‘YOU’ only need a SMALLER salary. ‘YOU’ will also NOT be able to save ANYTHING, as the OLIGARCHS will ensure you are paid only enough to survive. If you get sick, unless you are key to THEIR needs, you die, too bad.
