Despite a number of countries around the world and U.S. states dropping Wuhan coronavirus restrictions, including vaccination and masking requirements, Centers for Disease Control Director Rochelle Walensky said Wednesday the agency is not changing current mask guidelines at this time.
"Many of these state-based policies have come out in phased approaches that they are talking about, you know, something that might happen in a week or two. Masks that might come off in a week or two at the end of February, early March. And so of course, our metrics are going to examine," Walensky said during a briefing with reporters. "As I previously said, issues related to cases, certainly issues related to severity of disease and hospital capacity. And we anticipate that many of these will intersect in terms of timing."
Walensky's remarks are being blasted as unscientific, especially for children.
50 positives tests per 100K population is a totally inappropriate standard, literally based on spring 2020 testing levels and never changed.
Masks have not accomplished anything we were told they would. End them immediately.

For adults, CDC set metrics for mask removal (flawed, but they set *something*)
For kids, indefinite: "all teachers, staff, students, and visitors to schools, **regardless of vaccination status or community transmission levels**"
The Clown Show is following their policy. It has no force of law.

The CDC has already admitted that they primarily obey the teachers’ unions and do whatever they want.
I think the “desks need to be 6 feet apart” thing (unscientific but led the remote learning and then later only A/B cohorts of half remote and half in person as a result) the CDC admitted came directly from the teachers unions.
The teachers unions want these kids masked as long as possible for a variety of horrible and unscientific reasons.
Screw these nincompoops and their malarky.
It’s the jab mandates and gov’t coercion under alleged emergence powers that are still the main issues.
If more people refused to comply this would end.

In New Mexico with cases very low, mandates are still in place and our hospitals are “overwhelmed” because they have lost staff (nurses and others) due to both federal and state mandates that all must be completely vaccinated.
Wow, the government's "mitigation" policies have been so effective, eh?
Of course, this total failure is to be expected, given that they are trying to "mitigate" a phantom called "COVID".

They do not want this ever to end. The CDC loves endless jabs and endless Covid.
They’re recommendations, the CDC can’t mandate anything and they can’t lift any mandates either.
When it comes to CDC guidance I am ODD.
