Dr. Dre raps anti-cop lyric, Eminem kneels in nod to Kaepernick during Super Bowl halftime show

Leading up to Super Bowl 56, most of the negative attention surrounding the halftime show was about Snoop Dogg for his recent anti-police song.

But it ended up being two of the other performers — Dr. Dre and Eminem — who ruffled some feathers and reportedly bucked the NFL during the halftime show.

In the final song of the performance, Dr. Dre repeated an anti-police lyric in his song “Still D.R.E.”

“Still f—- with the beats, still not loving police,” reads the lyric in Dr. Dre’s hit 1999 single. Dr. Dre did not say the expletive during the halftime show, but he kept in the mention of police.

The NFL told Eminem he couldn’t kneel in support of Colin Kaepernick. He did anyway.

They told Dr. Dre he couldn’t sing the lyric “still not lovin police.”

He did anyway.

Hey - I am grateful to you for posting this. Thank you. I feel the same way about many things.

We're all very busy people but may I say that for me it has been helpful to come to a deep understanding that the Left thrives on misery. They need misery and dissatisfaction, and so they cause it and support it. This includes your misery.

Leftists bring misery to happy things. They rob us of God, family, country, tradition, competition, our alma maters, our teams... So that we, like they, will be miserable, blame others, engage in classism, racism, revolution, etc.

Leftists are miserable, and they want you to be miserable. They WANT you to be angry, to do something stupid, to give up. I have been in all those places. I am often still there.

The NFL is a partnership that is owned by the owners of the team franchises. Goodell is their employee.

In watching the SB over many years, I can not think of one time I ever thought of race, being from Columbus, OH, it was always terrific to see Buckeyes get drafted into the NFL and excited to see them play with the pros. In the past few years, they have made me “wake” up and now I see sports through the prism of race.

I make no secret that I regard Bill Whittle as one of the most eloquent Conservative pundits on the scene today, and this video illustrates why. It is a 15 min video, but well worth watching from both an entertainment, educational, and ideological perspective.

Yes. Me too. I fully understand the NFL was not engaged in the race stupidity before the kneeling (specifically the Rooney Rule which is the height of racist stupidity) but now...they gleefully bathe in it.

Not only that we must view everything through a prism of politics, but also through a prism of race. And sex. And class.

Giving bubba reperation lead laps, only to watch him lose control and wreck half the cars, the FBI hoax theatre after kneeling with Black Lying Marxist , and how they used Brandon Brown then dictated woke terms of his sponsor , leaves me permanently disgusted.

I tried to watch that silly l.a. colosium ‘ race’ who’s top speed was like 45 m.p.h.

After 2 laps I turned it off.

This pisses me off on so many levels, not just sports.

I have made major changes in my life to accommodate my unwillingness to patronize businesses that have shown their Leftist ideology was more important than my patronage.

I had a bank I used for 40 years, and put huge sums of money through them, but finally had to get my wife to agree to the process of disentangling from them due to their overt Leftism, which proved to be somewhat complicated and took us nearly six months to fully complete.

And even on a smaller level, I have used Gillette products my whole life. I won’t touch any damn thing from them now. And to a guy with face like mine, this is no minor thing on a personal level. I worked hard to find product over the years that could keep my face from turning into a mess, and once I found equilibrium, I didn’t want to change.

Point is, I am getting sick and damn tired of being forced to chase my tail, uproot myself, simply because corporations cannot keep their ideological hands inside their own trousers.

I don’t doubt it. I know there are plenty of black players who understand the inherent poison in the Leftist politics they see that will only make their lives harder, not easier.

I am sure they are the ones that hear some other player or pundit liken professional sports to modern slavery and roll their eyes in anger thinking “I make more that nearly every other citizen in this country in a single year, and my career opens up all kinds of other opportunities for me when I stop playing...how is THAT ‘slavery’...?”

I'm 100% with you on your feelings to the left destroying NFL. I've never been big about the NFL because around here it's all about college football (it's an Alabama thing). But I paid attention as the left went about destroying the NFL like they have other things like the Boy Scouts and "mainline" churches that historically did amazingly good things for God and country. With the NFL they found a way to make the fan base want to remove themselves from the NFL instead of forcibly take it away like they tried to do with the concussions scandal.

My take: Do like us Bama fans did to Saban when he went Bash Lighter Melanins on us. We made it loud and clear that we'll write him off and not support Bama as long as they blame white people for everything under the sun. If you'll notice, since then the few times he said "black lives matter" he followed it with something like "because all lives matter". We nipped it in the bud before it metastasized into a thing.

That's the way we should do with anything else the left tries to destroy. With what few good things are left in this country we should hold fast and not give the left an inch. Us giving up on the Boy Scouts didn't satisfy the left. What makes you think us giving up on anything else will satisfy them.
