In watching the SB over many years, I can not think of one time I ever thought of race, being from Columbus, OH, it was always terrific to see Buckeyes get drafted into the NFL and excited to see them play with the pros. In the past few years, they have made me “wake” up and now I see sports through the prism of race.
Yes. Me too. I fully understand the NFL was not engaged in the race stupidity before the kneeling (specifically the Rooney Rule which is the height of racist stupidity) but now...they gleefully bathe in it.
I would also suggest the video (Tortured by the Gazpacho: Republican Lip Slip Nails Heart of Political Divide in this Nation) I mentioned above at post #45 because it goes to the heart of this matter as well.
Not only that we must view everything through a prism of politics, but also through a prism of race. And sex. And class.
It is what the Left does.
