The United States was founded on a reasonable consensus of commonly held values. That consensus no longer exists. this Binton creature did not appear out of a social, cultural or political vacuum. Probably because he couldn’t get a clearance. I’ve heard his eligibility for one in the Deputy Secretary job is in question.
I notice that very few people around here say “what two people do in the privacy of their own home is none of my business” anymore.
We used to hear that a lot. And I always took great exception to it. And this. This is the reason why that statement was foolish.
It is a distinction. But still...there are people in that position who may go an entire career and not have to deal with a serious issue regarding nuclear waste.
All it takes is one serious issue with nuclear waste to put this thing in the spotlight, and to have this waste of oxygen in charge should concern ANYONE who has two brain cells to rub together.
