Former President Donald Trump offered some tough advice to podcaster Joe Rogan on Monday amid the campaign to cancel him: stop apologizing.
“Joe Rogan is an interesting and popular guy, but he’s got to stop apologizing to the Fake News and Radical Left maniacs and lunatics,” the former president said in a statement. “How many ways can you say you’re sorry? Joe, just go about what you do so well and don’t let them make you look weak and frightened.
“That’s not you and it never will be!” he emphatically concluded.

I agree. I see Joe Rogan as a media equivalent to politician Joe Manchin. Very useful at times, but very dangerous at others.
He can do/say what he wants, and so do those who want to criticize him for what they regard as stupid choices. No?
Yep. Free country for at least 1 more election.
Rogan will never endorse Trump. But so what? At this point, we need independents and non-partisans who stand resolutely in the middle -- and who expertly practice the right of free speech (so people can actually remember what it is).
Rogan is the man of the hour. He's got talent on loan from God. And no, I don't care that he once said he liked Bernie and Michelle Obama. We must look at second order effects and not be blinded by off-the-cuff comments and gestures aimed to shield him from poisoned arrows.
Rogan is an expert at winning and maintaining a podcast audience. And he's interviewing people who can punch through the enemy's fake news defense and thump the football in the end zone.
BINGO
Well, that just guaranteed the pressure on Rogan will let up /sarc.
Not sure if Trump is trying to help, or trolling.
You’re right rlmorel.
You said: "Rogan will never endorse Trump. But so what?" and to that I said: "Exactly".
Conservatives espouse policies that will help EVERYONE, including Leftists who fight tenaciously against those polices.
They cannot think far enough ahead to understand those kinds of things.
As for Rogan, I have only seen three things he has done: A comedy routine a few years back that my brother wanted me to watch, and after about 10 min, I asked if we could watch something else. It was anti-conservative, anti-Trump humor, I recall.
The other two things were interviews with McCullough and Malone, both of which I liked.
I was disappointed to hear him accept the criticism of the Left. You, I, Trump, and most conservatives know that is simply a ignorant, and often cowardly tactic. It never works. I have hope for him, though. He may fully awaken someday to what the Left stands for.
I made the mistake of listening to him and thinking he was already there. I don't think he is.
I like that picture...something about it...warily watching...watching...:)
God Bless My President!
Thank you, FRiend.
Damn straight!
I believe the term is: “Unchained lunatic”
Now there he is. We need more of this.
The Dems cannot think far enough ahead...

Question: Do conservatives think far ahead? I wonder. Soros has a formula that’s working for him. Evil though he is, he’s leveraging a few hundred million dollars pretty skillfully.
Now getting involved in local politics for the very first time. And I’m enjoying learning what it’s about. It’s also turning out to a good way to develop friendships (not close friends, but kindred spirits shall we say).
Because my work tech research work is about doing business nationally and internationally, I’ve been amiss at getting to know people in the larger city/town neighborhood. My Dad was the opposite because he was a real estate agent on Cape Cod.
I’m wondering if the GOP has data on how it costs to acquire a new voter. And how would we measure “acquiring a voter”. Maybe “winning a voter” can be measured when a person takes a specific positive action — attending a rally, or volunteering for something to help the cause.
Is there a cost benefit analysis out there to guide GOP and conservatives who have X amount of money and need to figure out how best to spend that money?
One winning form of “bait” I’ve seen is slices of pizza. You can get people to come to a local event if pizza and snacks are available.
Trump is getting huge support by pulling people together in rallies where they have a good time and feel a sense of community.
So I throw this out there for FReepers to share a tip that works.
The prez of Brazil also sent words of encouragement to Rogan.

Don’t misunderstand me, Leftists think plenty far ahead, but only in their own swim lane. They can think and plan for the 2030 election and how they would cheat to win it.
That isn’t a problem for them.
What they have a problem with is thinking far ahead outside their swim lane, as in the ramifications of the actions they take which won’t be evident tomorrow.
They will be evident when someone pounds on their door and drags them away in the middle of the night as they scream “Why are you doing this? I’m on your side! I helped put you in power!”
When I said they cannot think ahead, that is what I meant.
“I respectfully say that you are full of shit!”, ought to fill the bill.
Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?
The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! We didn’t love freedom enough. Every man always has handy a dozen glib little reasons why he is right not to sacrifice himself."
sunkenciv, loved the tweat from the President of Brazil!
