The suspect remains at large, but a manhunt is now underway.
The woman is suffering from third-degree burns over her upper body and hands, and lacerations to her head.
There were no witnesses when the incident took place shortly before 5.30 a.m. in one of the hospital's break rooms after the pair were heard arguing.
The suspect was hired as the state's hospital workers were wracked by COVID infections caused by the Delta and Omicron variants.

We certainly bring in millions of people whose values and traditions aren’t those of their new host country. We hope they come because they want to adopt our traditions or at least follow the laws, learn the language, and make their way as productive immigrants to become worthy citizens. But I think those are overwhelmed by the numbers who come to take what America gives them. They either prey upon our goodwill or readily accept what our government bestows upon them.
I am not optimistic of “refugee” groups composed overwhelmingly of males in their 20’s and 30’s, with no or few family members accompanying them—no matter where they come from.
Mine was a very cynical post. If Nicholas was a native-born crazy-man, I say, “No more from outside, please. We have enough of our own.”

No, I’m not blaming women for all my problems. I just cited a well known stat. There are three points in life that women, who is prone to cheating will cheat.
The first point is in her 20’s, presumably because she wants a final fling before she settles down with a guy.
The second point is around the 40 year mark, as a final test of her youthfulness.
The third point is around the 50 year mark with the children grown.
That’s just statistically when women will cheat.
It doesn’t mean that all women will cheat, but even having a decent man won’t stop a woman from cheating if she is prone to doing it.
