Police report that multiple arrests have been made related to the protest as Mayor Jim Watson warns that someone may get killed or seriously injured because of the irresponsible behaviour of some of those involved.

Ottawa Police Chief requests an additional 1800 officers. I’m reliably informed that the Province of Ontario is now picked clean of spare cops. The protesters have their crap together. They know what they are doing. Ottawa is Stalingrad. A resource sucking black hole where the enemy commits all their forces leaving their flanks woefully exposed and with no remaining resources to respond to contingencies. And then you drop the hammer on their flanks. It’s mad genius.

Most/many of the residents are government apparatchiks.
Now for a truth injection. They are not blaring horns in heavy residential areas. In the business areas, where of course some people are stupid enough to live, the truckers are self-limiting horns 8am to 8pm.
The roads that area actually closed were blocked by the police. Protesters have been careful to allow traffic and emergency vehicles.
I’ve watched many, many hours of livestream video. The only harassment is the constant smiles of the protesters literally dancing in the streets and playing hockey

Trudeau may be beyond common sense and intelligent discourse with the truckers because he is committed to his tyranny. He seems to hold contempt for the people he governs.
We all can see the direction of COVID. Europe is accelerating steps to roll back COVID restrictions because efforts to control the spread of the virus have failed.
Sweden and Switzerland joined Denmark, Norway, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy, Lithuania, France and the UK in lifting COVID restrictions.
Top Israeli officials also announced this week they are abolishing COVID vaccine passports for restaurants, hotels, gyms and theaters.
The Omicron variant is closer to the common cold; COVID is endemic. Time to get back to the new normal where people are free to decide what to do with their bodies in terms of wearing or nor wearing masks, getting vaccinated, etc. We have all learned to wash our hands properly, and to stay home if we feel sick.
The horn blowing is still every half hour but now stops at 8 o'clock p.m.
Citizens are now going to the protest area carrying jerry cans full of water or soda and drinking from them. The cops can’t tell which cans have fuel and which are harmless. More genius. “I am Spartacus.”

Trudeau is starting to remind me of the Japanese POW commandant from the movie Bridge on the River Kwai who refuses to back down to the English Colonel's demand that his officers won't do manual labor.When the Commandant finally is forced to relent, he's seen crying in shame in his bed.
I can see in my mind baby Trudeau crying in his bed that his people are revolting against his rule, and this hardens his heart even more to crack down harder.
