New York, NY (CNN)Joe Rogan issued an apology on Instagram Saturday after artist India Arie posted a compilation of the podcaster frequently using the n-word on his podcast.
Rogan used the word more than 20 times in the clips, which he said were compiled over a span of 12 years. In his apology, Rogan said it's the "most regretful and shameful thing" he has ever had to address publicly. "I know that to most people, there's no context where a White person is ever allowed to say that, never mind publicly on a podcast, and I agree with that," he said. "Now, I haven't said it in years," Rogan added.

I’m just guessing that he used it as a slang colloquialism and not as an angry racial insult.
This whole can’t say the N word thing started around the time of the OJ trial.
Of course you shouldn’t call people any derogatory name but this about the word being forbidden is over the top.
But those Young Turks can say it over and over again and it’s fine..and heck, the mayor of New York can call white people crackers and it’s hunky dory..for God’s sake when will people learn, NEVER EVER apologize to the left, the second you do, you’re done
The interviews with Dr. Malone and Dr. McCullough are very much worth the time. It’s not about Rogan and he seems to be a fair host. My Rogan experience is limited to these and one other podcast. Ironically, I only had time for these as we were stuck home with Covid.

Apologizing becomes a knee-jerk habit — which is what the Woke-leftists want. Joe, they’re peeling the onion and your deal with Spotify is “The Onion”.
I disagree. If you quote someone the quote should be verbatim. If they tell you not to use it as a quote tell them tell the other person not to say it and you won't quote them.

Rogan situation is disaster at every level. This was never about misinformation or CNN, the CDC and the administration would have to cancel themselves.
Spotify deal was bad from start bc was just about $ not solving a problem. Nobody thinks he evil or racist, but they got him.

They removed about 50 videos when he signed the deal, and now appears another 50 or so are gone. So he can either walk and blaze a new trail, or say fuck it, I did what I could, and play ball. It’s easy for any of us to say what he should do, but now it’s on him. I wish him luck.

And we can all sit in judgement of everyone involved, but at the end of the day everyone has their limits. We just don’t know what pressure was brought to bear. And the guy is a comic who became bigger than all of mainstream media by accident. Now more opportunity for new voices.
Joe rogan, still the big p*$$y I thought he was the first time I saw him years ago. Fear factor $ucked too.
Instead of apologizing he should have just put together a clip of N-words in movies and rap songs saying the N-word that lasts about fifteen minutes.
He used it in context with the person he’s talking to out about

Rogan is far more naive than I imagined.
He probably believes he can convince these people to leave him alone.
So liberals get to say n****r, like, 20 times before someone calls them on it. And then it’s only after they’re in trouble for something else.
Don’t ever apologize to the left. For anything. Ever.
But the Left mob isn’t after the MAYOR of NYC.
So far I'm not impressed. He's damaging his brand with his recent apologies. To the Left, an apology is nothing more than an admission of guilt and now there's blood in the water.
