Pentagon: Deadly Afghan airport attack was not preventable

WASHINGTON (AP) — The military investigation into the deadly attack during the Afghanistan evacuation has concluded that a suicide bomber, carrying 20 pounds of explosives packed with ball bearings, acted alone, and that the deaths of more than 170 Afghans and 13 U.S. service members were not preventable.

The blast at Abbey Gate outside the Kabul airport on Aug. 26 killed 11 U.S. Marines, a sailor and a soldier, who were screening the thousands of Afghans frantically trying to get onto one of the crowded flights leaving the country after the Taliban takeover. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack.

At the Pentagon on Friday, military officials laid out a detailed and graphic minute-by-minute account of the bombing. The bottom line, they said, was that those who died had wounds that were “so catastrophic” that they couldn’t be overcome. And they said that earlier thoughts that it was a complex attack involving gunfire turned out to be unfounded.

If they are implying “with the current personnel in charge in the White House and the military”, then it is true.

The Army did an investigation and found the Army wasn’t guilty.

Since it was primarily enabled by the confusion of a clusterf*ck "withdrawal" that NO ONE has been held accountable for YET....

What honorable young man is going to want to be part of this military?

...rhetorical question.

Well, in one sense it wasn’t. How do you stop a single man determined to die by blowing himself up? On the other hand, someone (I wonder who, Brandon?) made the decision to abandon the easily defended Bagram Air Base and hand over Kabul airport security to the Taliban.

This same person also made the decision pull out of Afghanistan on an arbitrary date, September 11 (how symbolic!) and announce an immediate evacuation of all American troops (but not their equipment) by a date certain.

So while the bomber may not have been preventable, the mobs of panicked people surrounding the airport and thus providing a nice soft target was. And I think we know who to blame for the mess.

The report was compiled by Milley’s favorite new Pentagon group, The Office of Zero Accountability.

At least they didn't try to pin it on some unvaxxed officer.

Should have used MPs.

They would have set up a more protected entry.

But, Biden wanted everybody out and had a crap plan.

More BS...

At the dinner table last night, Brandon discussed this and decided his successful raid yesterday which killed women and children made the death of 13 American Soldiers in Afghanistan a no big deal.

Sure I have been pissed about everything since this stolen election. I mean absolutely all of it, but nothing at all comes to approaching my inner rage because of the death of these Volunteers. I honestly was unable to contain myself.

My fury was unabated for perhaps a week or 2. I finally calmed down some despite this absolute moron claiming that the Afghanistan exit was a great success. Now comes this nonsense.

They will never cease the lies and deceptions. It has to be Demonic.
