But on that subject, I have a good friend and neighbor that bought a Toyota and it operates much on the same principle as a diesel locomotive. It has its own motor and generator, the brakes generate juice and so it never needs to be plugged into the grid.
I forgot to ask her how far it will go when the gas has run out.

Don’t be so quick to dismiss this notion. If Russia believes they will be an decimated by NATO creep they may just use the old Saddam trick - scorched earth. We both become MUTUALLY destroyed. Don’t think it couldn’t happen.
I cringed when idiot Biden threatened a cyber attack on Russia as part of a sanctions package against them. I’d guess Russia has infinitely more experience in this area than we do and it opens the door for them to attack us.
China would survive.

I think the 90% dead would be within 3-4 months; sooner if it took place during cold winter months.
I have stocked up on food, communications gear, solar panels, LiFePO4 batteries....etc

Biden already gave Putin major infrastructure points to not attack, keep “off limits”. Putin no doubt has them first on his list with operative in place. He could easily have had them in place all along. Weakpoints, especially those related to the power grid, have undoubtedly been known for a long time to the entire planet.
Putin has his own list what is first priority to take out and may well be much larger than Biden’s list.

If the U.S. is crushed economically the rest of the world is dead whether we respond militarily or not. It would be all we could do to supply ourselves with food and exports of food (and other critical supplies) would stop dead in its tracks.
If we have to go into survival mode the rest of the world is on its own without the huge surpluses we have been selling and giving away for decades.
We would hurt but we would survive. How would Russia and China do?

Yep, something is coming. We can’t go on like this for much longer, and it’s for sure we won’t last much longer at this rate.
I think one possibility is the Globalists doing something horrific because they know people are on to them and they are no longer in control of the narrative and their whole plan is falling apart. They could do something drastic.

Russia won’t ......Putins got plenty of other ways far more advantageous to him then our power grid in this Ukraine debacle.
What about a nuclear burst over the United States traced/blamed on the North Koreans, who are in turn a proxy of Russia and China and receive technology and support from both? In that event, I doubt Biden launches on Russia and China, but we’ll be hit with an EMP and screwed.
