The Fox News prime time host and others on the far-right have excused and even rationalized Russia’s aggression toward Ukraine and downplayed its relevance to U.S. national security. And while GOP senators are shrugging off his name-and-shame campaign, Carlson’s views are permeating the GOP base in a way that could undermine Republicans’ efforts to emphasize cross-party unity as they seek to deter a Russian invasion of Ukraine.

What you suggest should be a Constitutional amendment. Warmongers should have some skin and blood in the wars they promote. But who knows, the oligarchs of Ukraine and other places still might be able to buy their bloody support. My opinion is that if these war pigs get the nation in a shooting war with Russia then..........

Before their sons and daughters and OUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS, how about they pick up a rifle and go themselves!
If they feel this strongly about Ukraine’s boarders they should be more than willing to put their own bodies and blood on the line to prevent a Russian incursion.
It’s about time that the politicians who start all these wars are also the ones to fight them.
They want to run every decision and action from the Pentagon and the White House, so they should be the ones who execute those decisions on the ground!
If pussies like Milley, Biden, Graham, Schumer, et al want war I think we should give them a taste of it.
Let it be them, their children, their wives, their husbands, all of their relatives that lead the charge!

No; I don’t think we do, any parent in my age group has better sense than to encourage their sons and daughters to enlist, and we don’t have a draft anymore.
Both my brother and I had our war, his in 68 to 69, mine in 68 to 71 (yeah, I was stupid enough to go back for a second helping), we both learned something from that; POLITICIANS AND THEIR FAMILIES DON’T GO TO WAR AND JUST GET RICH OFF OF THOSE WHO DO.
We have talked to each other about this, and have both decided that our children and grandchildren would never go to war if we have any say in that matter.
Our service will be the end of a very long line of our family members serving in wars that don’t seem to do anything except prepare for the next war, as far as we are concerned, enough is enough.
We have had family members fight for this country since the Revolution, 1812, the Civil War, Spanish/American war, WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. We both think we have given enough, to only see the likes of Clintons, Bushes, Obamas, and now Bidens try to push us into another waste of lives and national treasure for their own enrichment.
Neither one of us is what you could call a pacifist, we both happen to believe that there are times when you have to fight, and when you fight, YOU FIGHT TO WIN.
I remember the look on my Mothers face when I got home after my second tour, she was pale, frightened and relieved all at the same time; I never want to see that look on any MOTHERS face again.
The GOP gave up their patriotic duty to protect this country and their constituents on January 6th. That same day, I relinquished my patriotic duty to vote. They can all go to hell.
I was thinking that same thing last night as I watched Tucker.
