GOP to Tucker Carlson: We’re the decision-makers on Ukraine, not you
Politico ^ | February 1, 2022 | Andrew Desidero

Posted on 02/03/2022 8:04:45 AM PST by C19fan

Republican senators are unmoved by Tucker Carlson’s relentless warpath against support for Ukraine — even as it widens an existing rift in their party.

The Fox News prime time host and others on the far-right have excused and even rationalized Russia’s aggression toward Ukraine and downplayed its relevance to U.S. national security. And while GOP senators are shrugging off his name-and-shame campaign, Carlson’s views are permeating the GOP base in a way that could undermine Republicans’ efforts to emphasize cross-party unity as they seek to deter a Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“The Party controls the primary, I suppose.”

You’re starting to get to the reason why the GOP establishment didn’t oppose the vote fraud in 2020, and even assisted in covering it up. Their hands are not clean either.

“How about a treaty guaranteeing the NEUTRALITY of Ukraine signed by Russia and NATO? Or a similar arrangement?”

It was already proposed and turned down by our foreign policy geniuses.

Ukraine DOESN'T have any relevance to US national security, because Germany is an energy puppet of Russia now.

The bloodthirsty warmongering neocon clowns need to STFU but pronto.

Supplying a belligerant is not becoming a belligerant, either under international law nor under modem custom/practice history. You just flatly made that up. There are tons of examples both this century and the last disproving that point.

World War I, World War 2, Korea, Vietnam, Falklands, Iran-Iraq, Gulf War, Iraq War. etc.. Plenty of weapons were supplied to various sides without the suppliers being considered belligerents themselves.

On top of that, there isn't even a war yet, so neither Russia nor Ukraine themselves are belligerents. The idea that us sending weaponry and supplies to a country at peace magically puts us at war with someone who may later decide to invade them is simply ridiculous.

Yep, not one of these bastards says one word about what is going on, 2 MILLION in one year have invaded this country so far and God knows how many US citizens have lost their lives because of it.

I wonder what the parents of Grant Ronnebeck think seeing all these illegals now pouring in. This is the 21 year old who was working at a QuikTrip in Mesa Arizona when an illegal alien shot Ronnebeck in the face killing him after being denied free cigarettes.

THIS IS GOVERNMENT SANCTIONED MURDER OF US CITIZENS

With as divided as the US is, a war would carry far greater consequences than in other optional wars. We would enter the war as WW1 Czarist Russia and exit it as Bolshevik Russia.

These madmen are throwing around matches and are not realizing the powder keg they are standing in.

There would be a real, absolute real, possibility of revolution.

It should scare any reasonable person.

Are weapons being purchased by Ukraine?

Because I’ll be pissed if we’re sending free weaponry to Ukraine, courtesy of the American taxpayer.

The problem is that since the start of the cold war, both parties have used our military irresponsibly. The result las been shameless lies, death, a weaker nation, and perpetual rule by selfish politicians and bureaucrats.

You're right ding dong from dumas.

Not coincidently, IMO, the Cold War and the CIA began in the same year. (1947)

I have long maintained that war is to be waged only if in a nations vital interest. That means you are willing to send your sons and daughters to the front lines.

Waiting to learn what is vital in Ukraine? I mean other than the few militarily insignificant numbers being posted to Europe now. Only rational explanation is to serve as a tripwire to ensnare us in a major commitment.

In fairness, Tucker is not Fox News
As long as Fox News censors anything he has to say about the 2020 election fraud, and he complies, he is Fox news to the core/ all the way to the bank.

Just let him comment, even mention the 2020 election.

Don't take my word for it. Ask Lou Dobbs and Trish Regan what happens.
