House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is being accused of "rich hypocrisy" for hiding video of the entirety of the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, and claiming she has sovereign immunity that means she does not have to let the public have the facts about the events of that day.
It is Judicial Watch, a government-watchdog organization, that has been trying to gain access to the video, which comes from hundreds of monitor cameras posted through the Capitol.
Pelosi has refused, so far, to grant any access to the public records.
Judicial Watch now has filed an opposition to a claim from the U.S. Capitol Police department in which it argues that the videos – and related emails and other documents – "are not public records."

The constitutional issue over rule sovereign immunity
My thoughts are that Nancy should be guest of honor at an old fashioned public whipping. Maybe it would beat some of that corruption out of her....unless a confession (on many items) preceded the whipping.
Sovereign immunity eh? Seems to me that applies to the executive but don’t recall that applying to the legislative or courts.
Rancid believes she is a sovereign now, perhaps, over her turd covered city but not over me, not one bit.

Sounds like she didn’t learn the right lesson.
They are around, but as long as democommies are running things, the democommies will simply ignore any court orders, constitutional constraints or whatever they please. Folks they support, no bond/bail releases. Onesixers? Not so much. After all, they were threatening our democracy.

Well maybe someone can answer my question- if she is claiming sovreign immunity what is absolute immunity or is she confusing the two?
