House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) disclosed Tuesday that he tested positive for COVID-19, becoming the latest member of Congress to contract the virus despite being vaccinated.
Hoyer, the second-ranking House Democrat, said in a statement that he is experiencing mild symptoms. He added that he will work and cast votes remotely while the House is in session this week.

Ruh ROH ..... if Nanzi thinks it spreads by butt kissing, anal swab testing may be next for the House. If Barney Frank was still in Congress, you would be sure he would have introduced a bill to require that daily.

But in a 70% Dem district, you’ll probably get somebody even more liberal, if that’s even possible. He is my congress critter and his district is most of southern Maryland. Until about 20 years ago it was primarily Red. Then an influx of Government workers and suburban sprawl changed it to solid Blue like Prince George's County.

Times they are a-changin'.
Hoyer has the 'vid so he will be "voting remotely". A senator from NM had a stroke and will be recovering at home, so I assume he will use that option too.
Of course it will be abused, lawmakers voting from tropical isles and undisclosed locations. Considering the weather in D.C., wouldn't you? Unless someone else is doing it for them - how would we know?
