Thus no confirmation hearing/vote for new SCOTUS nominee...
I hope it takes him months to recover.
It sounds like it was a “minor” stroke… as far as strokes go.
“With Lujan absent, Democrats will have to wait to confirm several executive and judicial branch nominees”
Well doesn’t that just s*ck. Biden’s woes get worse. Cry me a tear.
They’ll just hire a body double like they did for Hitlery.
Was he vaxed?

My 51 year old health nut friend died of a stroke days after he was vaxxed
I suspect the first question all of us have is: What is his vaccination history?
Very odd that the several deaths in today’s news do not mention cause, when everyone is interested in cause.
One here in North Carolina that did not end in death, but would have had the coach not been a very quick thinker, was a 17 year old boy in basketball practice.
Afterwards the coach said he had never seen an incident so serious in his 20 years of coaching.
No report as to cause, only that he had a cardiac arrest.
Similar to no picture...don’t need one?
Then the party of Communism will force him out and have the Commie NM Governor appoint a new and improved Commie Senator.
Here is the fugly witch:
It is very important to know if it was an Ischemic (often a blood clot) stroke, or a Hemorrhagic (a pipe burst) stroke, and *where* it was in the brain (cerebellum). Also how quickly it was detected and how soon treatment began.
This is correct— there cannot be a “vote” by a Senator’s staff, and not by the Senator in absentia.
This is great news. Getting the vaccine, testing, and following necessary quarantine protocols is the key to ending the pandemic once and for all.

As we approach the holidays, I want to extend my prayers to all the families who will have empty chairs at the table this year. I can’t stress how important it is to get vaccinated and boosted. Tonight, I joined my colleagues in a moment of silence for the 800,000 Americans we’ve lost from COVID-19. Please help honor their memory by getting vaccinated and boosted, if you haven’t already. pic.twitter.com/Dfx0hJ71OK— Senator Ben Ray Luján (@SenatorLujan) December 15, 2021
Our country is set to surpass 800,000 Covid-19 deaths. We have the science and the ability to end this pandemic - get vaccinated, everyone.— Senator Ben Ray Luján (@SenatorLujan) December 13, 2021
Getting vaccinated and getting your booster when it’s your time is the best way to protect yourself and your family from COVID-19.
If you haven’t done so already, it’s time to schedule your appointment and get vaccinated New Mexico ➡️ https://t.co/XyukmOtA29— Senator Ben Ray Luján (@SenatorLujan) November 29, 2021
Great news!
Make sure you and your loved ones are protected this holiday season by getting vaccinated and your booster shots. https://t.co/ZzHGZjCqaL— Senator Ben Ray Luján (@SenatorLujan) November 22, 2021
COVID-19 is still surging in our communities, and our hospitals are reaching capacity. The most effective way to protect yourself, your loved ones, and help our health care workers is to get vaccinated.

Proud to see @NMSU conduct research on vaccine misinformation. Vaccine related misinformation continues to jeopardize public health, and it’s critical that the entire world understands how we combat it. https://t.co/RcW0uwEWeF— Senator Ben Ray Luján (@SenatorLujan) October 18, 2021
Untimely for the Dems. This could has some significant ramifications.
As with all liberals, I hope he gets the outcome he deserves. And I’ll leave it at that.
Let’s hope he stays in a coma until at least next January. I assume that his seat would remain his while in a coma so he couldn’t be replaced.
Then you have Senator Dianne Feinstein who evidently seems to be having some dementia. It definitely is a problem when you overstay your age in the Senate. You could end up as a vegetable or dead
He needs more vaccine hits, obviously.
This guy was only 49 years of age. Which is way too young for a stroke. But look at Dianne Feinstein at age 88, and Grassley from Iowa at age 88. Both are too old to be in the senate
